i think no need overnight.. just 15-30 mins will do.. then start the engine & let it idle for about 10-15 mins.. thats how i did with my previous car.. current didnt reset yet, still satisfied with the fc/response..

btw, how weird is ur digital fuel meter behave?
*
The meter showing something like "708.0" doh.gif
Thanks for the info bro.So it's safe to do ECU reset? sweat.gif
QUOTE(rcracer @ Nov 7 2009, 07:32 PM)
yeah the oil sump sits quite low and you're not the first case actually.

to reset ECU, no need to even remove batt terminals, go to the fuse box beside the battery and there you will see a fuse for 'engine' and another for  'ECU' the ecu fuse might have a yellow holder around it at least mine does, pull both out and any other fuse you see that's for the engine, i think that's the only two but i might be wrong.

once both are out go into the car and step on the brake pedal. you will hear the alarm chirp once, that means the ECU is reset, just replace both fuses and start the car. done.

Thx for the info! smile.gif

would love too but i'm not with my car at the moment at least for another few months, it will be quite hard to short the fuses as the holders are slotted and insulated, when you see it you'll know what i mean, there are no exposed terminals even when the fuse is out.

thats really good mileage. my car is 5 years already and just turn 70k. i just changed absorbers and did all the proper servicing like changing the timing belt and air cond. i guess if a car is well maintained and serviced it can last you for years....
*

if rm700 is ur budget
go for Sapura Pro-Ride (performance one.. yellow colour)
got someone selling this brand at garage sales.. cheap summore..
FYI, im using it and its the best setup for daily/malaysia road driving..

if want adjustable, make sure the spring rate suitable for ur driving style..

p/s: i prefer Sapura Pro-Ride coz its suitable with our Gen2.. the best setup i've used for now..

my abs - R3 spring + sapura pro-ride (performance) with 15 rims..

thanks for the info bro..... dilemma for adjustable or sports abs...
how about the price for GAB adjustable? 1399? i ask whats the diff with this and the 1 selling in eones for 1499..... he claim this is semi soft hard adjustable... fuh.. for just thing call "semi" soft hard adjustable?

http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=1155105&hl= <... if not mistaken.. this is the 1 that shop selling.... khguan thread are call bodyshift.. how does it works? compare to HA series?

i talk with my fren which is using tein SS on his vios and also called khguan asl well...... its actually not semi soft hard like what that guy said... previous very which is the GAB HA series which the height is adjust with the spring as well.... but this HA-B new version which have individual adjustment like only adjust the tube instead of adjusting the spring as well... i think i gonna give this a try....
