lol at Dell. i dont know but how do u wanna sue the government? the government is the law. u cant fight them. u wont be able to stand a chance. since dell is giving crap service might as well just ask the government to close dell malaysia down. total crappp
*
Actually yes you can, people have sued some dewan bandar (I forget which one) and won. It was because a railing gave way when he leaned on it. I can't find the article now though.

If Dell closes down a lot of people will lose their jobs.

PC World had a slightly more detailed news on the Dell Taiwan's mis-pricing of the 19" Dell E1909W:

QUOTE
The pricing mistake was posted online June 25 at 11 p.m. and removed June 26 at 7 a.m. During that eight hour period, 26,000 people placed orders for nearly 140,000 displays.

8 damn hours before they had the mistake fixed, I wonder why their staffs were so incompetent and never suspected a thing when they noticed a sudden surge of orders.

Dell also issued a statement:
QUOTE
In a statement, Dell apologized for any inconvenience caused by the pricing error and said it "will offer reasonable discounts to the orders received under the wrong price."

Reasonable discounts..

Serve Dell (or HELL) Right!

After a second run in with low, low, low prices on particular products at Dell Taiwan, Dell has shut down that country's online store until it can sort things out. Apparently this time it was the Latitude E4300 which would go haywire with particular CPU configurations. Dell is offering a 20,000 NT (about $600 US) discount to those who ordered the mis-priced PC, but apparently that only just matches the regular street price in Taiwan for the computer so people are naturally up in arms. We're not sure what they're so grumpy about: sounds like a paradise on earth to us.
