I suggest we forward this to DELL US support website. Just link this thread there. It's a dell support forum, where dell employees and manager constantly there to provide support.

Added on July 3, 2009, 1:45 pmThose forums are really effective, i ask a few question there myself few years ago and the technical person there help me even though i'm from bolehland region.

Our DELL Malaysia is really fak-up, this is what happens when american powerhouse company runs by bolehland monkeys. becomes rubbish.

Their T&C covers all legal angles. We're asking Dell on good faith and treating their customers right, by admitting their mistake and doing good by it.

Law is on their side, a price is an offer to treat, not a contract.

U guys didn't go to trade n consumer ministry yet? I'm sure the result will b same as Taiwan where the government told dell to honor the sales. The Taiwan thing even worse for dell coz so cheap at rm50 per LCD.

IANAL, but wouldn't Dell would have the right to sue the government if they did? this isn't a dictatorship where the government can force you to do something that is extralegal smile.gif

The thing is, did they actually complete the order? if they did they might have a case, if not then maybe not.
