Okay... My post may get kinda long. Did more tests on my AOC Angelo and took some pics. All pics are shot with the same setting and digicam is placed on a stationary camera stand.

Full HD demo video of Samsung LED TV. The screen have been "brightened up" by my digicam, no matter how I set also end up like this, so just let it be lah tongue.gif But all I can say is the demo video looks great on Angelo!

Bleeding test. Don't mind the color change on the bottom half of the screen as my digicam is not angled correctly.

The 3rd comparison is the obvious of all imho, there are more pics but it's more or less the same result anyway. I think DCR is good for certain movies, but not all... And definitely NOT GOOD if all you do is browse around the web, because the screen will be super bright.

@Faint
All my settings are identical to yours except for Contrast and Brightness. Mine are set as below:
Contrast - 50
Brightness - 30

Well, maybe your room is too dark laugh.gif Setting the Contrast too low will sacrifice details, especially the tiny tiny ones.

guys i need some recomendation here. i was looking for a LCD..budget around 500. If a increase 100+ for really-worth-buying LCD i will consider too. Usage is mid-gaming..surfing net..watching movie..

i was thinknig of buying a 22' or maybe 20' oni. is it good to purchase a 24' LCD for future proof? coz i don plan to change this LCD within 1 or 2 year.
