24" sold on Dell is VA not IPS.

The cheapest S-IPS/H-IPS panel (not sure which one) will be Ultrasharp 2007FP (not wide), but all depends on your luck. You might end up with a VA panel.

Cost slightly under RM1k, am using it at work. Very nice monitor.

Their service is good.

Do they replace it with a brand new unit or a refurbished one?

@Faint & Onion-KiD
Thanks for the replies. Score is draw. biggrin.gif

Still confuse. actually prefer the AOC since it's bigger & read previous posts saying that when using HDMI, the quality is fine compare to using VGA. problem is my GC don't have HDMI port (9800GTX).

but e-ips also tempting & quite important since I also do photo editing.

anyone have a suggestion e-ips/ips panel 24" LCD that have 'acceptable' price below RM1200?

thanks! thumbup.gif

@Onion-KiD:
what do you mean by "I think e-IPS panel was good for me since I'm no watch bluray movie"?
ips panel not good in playing BD movie?

There is no 24" e-IPS panel. the closest 24" non-TN panel is Dell 24" Ultrasharp which is VA panel (on par with IPS)

I think what he meant is the screen resolution which is 1680x1050 (not HD).
