Other than the difference of size, normally 19" aspect ration is 16:10, 20" is 16:9.

Is OLED, this technology already released long time ago. It may take long time to become popular.

OT a bit, my laptop has one stuck pixel there. any recommendation on how to fix the problem? read some articles online, suggesting some software, and some LCD massaging technique, useful?

Cos last time mine was tiny dirt only I thought it was dead pixel

confirm not dirt, just that do not know whether its dead pixel or stuck pixel
from what i've read, dead pixel can't be fixed, while stuck pixel can
hoping that it's just a stuck pixel, one tiny blue dot there, running the fix software now, let it be for few hours and see what will happen later

I got my LCD Panel From Samsung Model 2233BW RM 520 From AllIT

It's the sub-pixels that are defective... the red and green maybe dead, you'll need to cycle different colours to determine it

Yeah AOC is good brand. but i dont think AOC brand is the best for LCD

FYI, AOC is OEM manufacturer for Dell & HP LCD last time. They break into their (Dell, HP, Samsung, BenQ) dominance this time around to manufact they own branding to compete. So no issue bout their quality for me. Plus their warranty policy is easy and available widely in Msia

and now they have this model back again? i asked alot of times in this thread back then with no one replying then went lyp asking each shop to find that they no longer stock in this model.

i don't even know whether it's dead or stuck pixel now. its less obvious against blue background, but still can notice it vaguely, and the software could not fix it. gahh, going to leave it be, just sad that it's quite new, but glad that it's not my own laptop, although i treat it as my own

read somewhere in this forum that AOC will replace the monitor if there is one dead pixel, but from what i have read from the official website, that's not the case, will only provide warranty if it has more than 3/5 dead pixels

There are still alot of 2434pw available. Not going to be sold out anytime soon, atleast not this year.
