Well, seems like that AOC 24" has lots of problems huh?
If and only if samsung has hdmi thingy on a 22" monitor, i definitely buy Samsung ones...
Awwww, dilemma time lol..
*
What problem did you see ? rclxub.gif I don't have any problem with my Angelo.

@johnkor, what do you referring to?
isn't 2233SW is better in term of resolution?
*
2233sw is 21.5" monitor, with resolution 1920x1080(suppose in 24 monitor). This hug resolution put in small monitor, all the thing you see may small and get tire easily. Thus, I'm not recommend this monitor.

QUOTE(toottut89 @ Oct 12 2009, 03:39 AM)
aside from aoc, why not viewsonic vx2433wm, or even asus VH242H?
*
Because there less people using Asus monitor which not master in produce monitor, you hard to find this. But you still able to see 2433 user.

actually its better when u are gaming.
they put so much pixel on a small size monitor it'll make the game looks crisper and u have less jaggies since the pixel is cramped so tight like that.

plus u dont have to put AA setting so high and u can have the extra performance.

guys i need some recomendation here. i was looking for a LCD..budget around 500. If a increase 100+ for really-worth-buying LCD i will consider too. Usage is mid-gaming..surfing net..watching movie..

i was thinknig of buying a 22' or maybe 20' oni. is it good to purchase a 24' LCD for future proof? coz i don plan to change this LCD within 1 or 2 year.

If so, that will only benefit on game. For office, internet browsing not really recommended.

But you can change the font size by "Ctrl + Roll your mouse middle button" or change text size ( At Control Panel>Display there? )

Guys, wanna ask is there any shop in lowyat complex selling DELL monitor which is cheaper than the official website while still providing DELL official warranty?
another question is, do DELL monitor normally selling in PC fair?
coz dont wanna waste my time to go all the way to pc fair but end up cant get any DELL monitor back. Looking at 24 incher.

now looking at Viewsonic, DELL, and perhaps AOC, ASUS, HP.
not in list will be Samsung, LG, ACER, BenQ.

and i think most probably getting DELL as warranty is quite good as I read in tis forum and i prefer matte screen rather than glossy type.

sifus..after much research based on my needs (budget 700, use for a bit of gaming [mostly dota], watching movies, normal usage) i've narrowed it down to 3

AOC 2434PW (Angelo)
Samsung 2333SW
Acer H233H

Guys...need your help in deciding between the 3...or any other alternatives in the RM700 bracket?

i'd suggest the angelo if you are not into design, but overall, its the most value for money for a 23.6" inch monitor.. i checked out the diffrence between a 23.6 and a 24 inch monitor.. height and width is less than 1 cm difference =.=" so much so u cant even tell with a naked eye. good luck in buying one:P icon_rolleyes.gif
