Ramadan & StrongLifts 5×5. Training fasted works if you eat well during the feeding window. Thirst can be a problem if you’re used to drinking a lot or if it’s warm. Best is to cut down your workout time. Tips:

bata, thanks for the article..i think it really helps to clear things up,coz most of us actually don't really know what to do during puasa.. smile.gif ..I GUESS,BEST WAY IS U TRAIN BEFORE YOU BREAK UR FAST..THEN GO TERAWIH.. cool2.gif ..

btw guys, juz wanna share with you, u guys can check out kevin levrone training for superset..i've tried them and yeah it works..kinda feel the pump.. flex.gif ..propose u guys try it out during this Ramadhan.. rclxms.gif

so, do you workout before fast breaking time ?? u've tried the superset in ramadhan already ?? what you eat for berbuka ??

so far im oke with it..

before break puasa around 6.30 i start workout till 7.00pm then go open puasa..

total 5 meal till 5.20am..

1 meal ..120 grm chicken rice big plate salat 1 cup of yogurt drink

( bfre second meal drink green tea apple banana and orange)

2 meal ..150 grm steak beef 2 big poteto 1 plate salad 1 cup of orange juice..

3 meal..120 grm fish rice 6pc garic 1 cup of yogur drink..

4 meal..15 white eggs..50grm cheese and oat 1 cup of green tea..

5 meal.. 2 cup of milk (hl) 2 banana...

elhamdullilah:) i feel more powerfull when i fasting...i think iman give u more energy...

happy puasa for muslim brothers..

bebeq, do you have enough sleep ? I can only eat 3-4 times in bulan puasa. Else I'm sleeping.

Also I found that I feel weak lifting weight. I eat around 7.30-7.45 and workout around 9.00pm. Sometime feel like to throw up some of the food. Not yet digested i guess biggrin.gif

i think u over eat open fasting time, eat less la bro, can repeat eat after workout

Well, i workout at least an hour before berbuka.. smile.gif ..i do the kevin levrone routine..and it takes around 45 minutes..with abs 15 minutes workout..after berbuka..i'l drink up my whey and glutamine with dates...then a lil bit of carb..nasi as big as my fist with vege & meat..and a small glass of teh tarik.. tongue.gif

hey it's ramadhan, and u're gonna shrink eventually..as long as u eat moderately, it should be fine..it's just that ur strength will definitely drop a lil bit.. smile.gif

1st day in gym yesterday after puasa started. lol no people at all when i reached at 7.30pm, all muslim gym mate rush in after 9pm tongue.gif

I have drop about 2kg in 3 days of puasa. Now 62. Maybe mostly water. So no point eating clean. lol I eat all I want during puasa.

of coz im sleeping....after mornin pray i sleep then wake up aroun 1.20pm pray then sleep ...4 pm wake up for pray again...then not sleep anymore...i think 9 hour more then enough .....

LoL bro after break puasa till end of sahur i not sleep...just eatin,,,

And ramadan is so good coz..1 month urliver and kidney relaxing....otherwise u keep eating and under stress...

my weight keep decreasing. maybe water. before 64. now is 61.7kg. hope i lose fat. only do weight training twice during puasa. eventho puasa, i lift as heavy as I kind. feeling sore during the day but cannot eat anything. just wait during buka tu eat anything i want
