I'm not track 'kaki' like my friend tongue.gif . This year only, he already changed 3 sets of tyres. All this due to Sepang HPCs and Genting whacked out session.

It takes skills and guts to handle NCT5 during wet and corner especially when the thread is almost thin. As far as I remember during using the NCT5, I had 2 times controllable skid during high speed. The rule of the thumb is never ever hit your brake hard when driving on wet or emergency braking. Try to control the accelerator first when slowing down and slowly pressing the brake carefully. When entering corner always practice brake first and enter and not braking during cornering. While cornering the only thing you have to do is control the accelerator carefully when taking the apex. Unless there is urgency to press the brake then you have to do so.

I'm using 195/55/R15. Bought it around RM225/piece with production date of 'Week 38 2009'.

but i add raining time better becareful about emergency brake... and highway drive... a few small patches of water in a roll can send u spinning around...

traction totally sux in wet... equally no grip in corner and hard braking sweat.gif using that nct5 when i was still a complete noob about cars and the goodyear shop in miharja recommended me that hopeless tyres a few years
back mad.gif

Any one use Nexen (Korean brand) before? Recommended by 1 of the famour tyre shop in Taman University, SS3...
195/55 R15 cost RM175, same as Falken..

Agreed NCT5 tak boleh pakai...2 times accident during raining....with ABS...when driving 60km/hr

Added on October 24, 2009, 2:55 pmwhere can get V12 around PJ or Cheras area? Need to change for my old Vios too..

came as stock along with the car....smooth at the begining but after about one year (25k) of using...the steering vibrate no matter how much balancing is done..and when its being rotated on the balancing machine..i can see its "jumping"/not smooth....but not when the tire is new .....my opinion might be wrong.... laugh.gif
but grip during corning on dry is good and wet not bad as well...and if u want to get better cornering..pump extra 1 or 2psi for this tire...

yeah! just got the news from a friend which is a Yokohama fanatic too. he was looking for 17" but
AD08 entry level size of 17" cost around 9xx bucks rclxub.gif
look like gonna hold on for a while till the price drop....slightly!
there are still quite a number of AD07 available in Pandan Indah, btw.

hello bro and sis, wanna change tire soon... currently using sports contact 1 ... ok ok but noisy..
after helping my mom change primacy lc on her ride.. definitely love it.

can anyone tell me the ride confort and noise between michelling pp2 and ziex ze912 ?? i know handling michelling gonna be much better.. but i wanna know about the comfort and noise if michellin is a little noiser and harsher then i wouldnt mind.. if its alot of difference then i think ill stick to my decision on going for the ziex
and also anyone can recommend me those tire that provide good comfort and noise oso good for ocassional harsh driving thanks beside those two.

michelin pp2 quite nice...falken ziex 912 also not bad...but make sure made in thailand...if made in indonesia dont buy...suck...

if you wanna compare PP2 with 912... sorry to say but i have not used 912 b4 coz that is performance level not UHP...
comfort - 912
handling - PP2
Grips - PP2
Quiet - 912
912 sure more comfort as it aim is performance comfort... not like PP2 where is focus more on its handling.. if about handling then PP2 beats 912... because of it's harder sidewall it give you harsher ride but better handling... grips for PP2 in Wet and Dry also will be better than 912 again... PP2 hydroplaning/aquaplaning is one of the best in it's class... but in terms of quietness i still choose 912 coz PP2 will get a lil noisier when it thread wears after 60%...
2 of the tire is in total different categories...
u need better comments and recommendation please give us ur car model, tire size also... then choose... priority... Noise, Handling, Grip, Comfort... 1~4 rank it... there is nothing to perfect but just u can to compromise a bit on certain area...
u can try Hankook V12 if you are using some sizes as it give you similar performance like PP2 but noisier, a lil more toward comfort and the last cheaper...

try Hankook V12... as it's performance is comparable with PP2 but the only down side it is a lil noisier than PP2...
its comfort also better than PP2, in return PP2 will be superior in Hydroplaning and also Handling... for Primacy LC, i would say if you driving style is a lil aggressive then it is not suitable for you... this tire is for those luxury saloon which will be driven by non-aggressive driver... as it is soft (comfort) and quiet...
so if you wanna switch from ur current tire i think Hankook V12 evo is ok for you... smile.gif

I'm hunting for tires. Good reviews on v12 PP2. Taking those tires into consideration. Anyone can comment on michelin primacy. Also what about conti premium contact and sportcontact. Anyone can give review on them?
