just to check with u guys...

my current tyre Michelin MXV8 wear is around the second stroke of E from a 20cent coin above the safety mark at the tyre thread.

Is it still driveable or need to change?

not really.. i'm using PP2 for around 1year 215/45R17 and it still have lots of rubber around. Rotated every 10K km. Now if i remember correctly it should be running around 40K km already.
