QUOTE(Andy0625 @ Oct 24 2009, 12:55 AM) I'm using Continental Comfort 195/60/R15 currently and would like to hear the review from you guys. came as stock along with the car....smooth at the begining but after about one year (25k) of using...the steering vibrate no matter how much balancing is done..and when its being rotated on the balancing machine..i can see its "jumping"/not smooth....but not when the tire is new .....my opinion might be wrong.... Hope you guys can share with me. but grip during corning on dry is good and wet not bad as well...and if u want to get better cornering..pump extra 1 or 2psi for this tire... |

got chance to try dunlop D01 where just installed in my mom's car.....well..i can say its good for normal driving and slight average cornering.....but once you break the traction, the tire screeches and whole car understeer badly...and i tested the same stretch where i use my PP2 to corner but different car..la... D01 definitely suitable for normal driving, slightly hard still ok but if trash it then

QUOTE(michael9413 @ Nov 5 2009, 12:14 PM) that y i said nvr intend to buy BS MY-01 and Dunlop D-01... scary... got some ppl even tell me... this is good good tires... haha...yeah...when u corner on D01 okok..but if u become wild abit..then habis...screeching sound suddenly appear and understeer.... its a good tire for normal people...best bang buck for not bad tire for daily driving... and both of my parents prefer dunlop and say its good tire... QUOTE(TaQ @ Nov 6 2009, 12:10 PM) @loong... yea Dunlop D01... cannot push ... push either get wild understear or wild overstear... no control... not subtle and controllable.... but to get to to do either is also quite hard....hav to really drive rough... under rain conditions... almost similar but easier 2 push it and lose control.... its a bit hard... quite quiet for an old tire... plus not to mention bang for the buck! hmmm...pp2 noise not that bad either & its much harsher than dunlop d01.....but the steering feedback is good and when you corner dont feel any softness/bodyroll on PP2.....but for dunlop D01 on the other hand, its a value for money quiet tires...but the tires only run about 1k++ which fitted on my mom's car recently.....in terms of harshness, i think, D01 not bad and less harsh than PP2 but taking corners i can definitely feel the softness of the tire...and when its being corner hard, it dosent give any squeaking sound frm the tire...unless it looses control only will squeek.... Loong and michael ......i wonder how pp2 sound and harshness and wet driving is compared to dunlop??? @michael... hmm v12 hydroplaning not as good as PP2? i m considering v12 now after reading some of ur comments.... hmmm i jus wonder how v12 is compared to dunlop..... any comparison on dunlop formula D01 ... hankook v12 and pp2? based on my opinion....PP2 is harsher than D01...but it is being tested frm the two different cars that will not proof a solid feedback since the suspension, nvh all different.... but for those who want a affordable tires D01 is great choice to grab...heck even my friends uses D01 as their new tire replacement.....and only one of my friend uses PP2 on honda city.....others were goodyear, silverstone & etc |

QUOTE(vios2002 @ Dec 15 2009, 11:05 AM) Thanks for the advise, been using this -2 camber setting for more then 1k mileage ... for cornering feel can push more and entering cornering at even more speed... wow...ur tires wear out nicely??....no makan inside since ur camber -2....but i notice another things is strait line is not very stable if the road is not smooth very easy to pull from left side or right side pull here and there my setting is -2 camber & toe is 0 maybe will try to reduce the camber to -1.8 see how things do |
