I'm hunting for tires. Good reviews on v12 PP2. Taking those tires into consideration. Anyone can comment on michelin primacy. Also what about conti premium contact and sportcontact. Anyone can give review on them?

A little confused I thought i posted my question about price on another thread. Anyway Thanx for your suggestion.

Actually my preference would be moderate performance and comfortable but not noisy. Also good performance in wet. The perfect choice might be v12 but i read that alot of tyre shop is out of stock. So i need to have a backup choice. My current silverstone kruizer just so so in wet. On comfort, kruizer not really bad really. So my choice of tires should be a level above kruizer.

What about conti sportcontact or premium contact? I've eliminate comfortcontact because i think it's not really an upgrade from my current tires. Conti doesn't seem to be the favourite choice here. I think conti tyres are good too. Not a lot of user review on conti.

my car is gen2 2008. Current suspension all is standard.

Tek ming sunway quite popular. Their price can match klang?

No conti user here to give review? Hope v12 will be available again next month when i go to klang.

Went with a friend to batu gajah yesterday to survey tyres and ask for michelin primacy. One worker pointed to a set of tyres he called MICHELIN MAXXIS!
Totally clueless that guy. Another worker proudly said they don't sell cheap tyres(Since when michelin is cheap). They only have michelin made in Italy? price at RM350 for 15 inch!!! Ask him what type he don't know just claim it's from Italy. Hopeless shop.

what size?..its quite good...

michael:u using 34 psi?...im using 32 front and rear 30 oni...im using 2.0 turbo engine woo...

Yoko a drive size 195/55//15 can get around 185-200. Quite tempting price for me since I'm looking for a good set of tires below 200 a piece. Although if the tyres not good then there's no point.

Yoko S drive that size close to 300. Too expensive for me.

anyone has feedback on Federal?

i switched out my PP2 today to Federal 195/55/R15 595EVO tires.  so far seems quiet but would love to hear comments about the handling in wet weather.
*
How much price you get the federal tires. Tomorrow I'll be changing my tires. Looking for v12 but your tyre size matches my tyre too so if price is ok i;ll consider it too.

either it was the alignment problem or your steering bush need a replacement.
*
Do you know of a good place to do steering bush replacement? Mine definitely is in need of replacement. Countless alignment from different tyre shop doesn't make my steering straight, especially after a full u turn. I think it also affect my tyre since the tyre wears out uneven. My car always wants to go to the left.

where are you from? there is one in balakong area. turn left around shell petrol station after the mines shopping center. it's call z motorsports or something.
cost around 80 bucks. good thing it was of pu steering bush which gives a tighter steering feel.

I'm in perak, I'll check it out next week holiday. 80 bucks is alright, it's a nightmare driving on highway with your tyres keep going to the left. Might survey around for ps3 or hankook v12 tyres.
My only concern is i heard after changing bush your steering takes longer to return after doing a u turn. Is that true?

Racing Z tyre shop at Balakong. Just turn left after pass by the MINE shopping centre traffic light. The bush they selling are great. I change my waja cps steering bush after 1 month of servicing in proton. give me stupid reason say my tyre not nice la rim not nice la this and that. At the end, one PU bush everything settle. Go there and look for SAM a tall guy with specs la. Hahaha... After change to PU bush, i still drive like mad. Nothing wrong with steering. ask them do on wheel balancing for you. you wil feel your car is perfect during high way. hahahahahhaa

Do they have brake pads? I'm going to change mine too.

both hankook v12 and ps3 is a good tires. with ps3 being quieter and better wet grip. of course, more expensive too.
huh!told ya after changing to pu bush, steering feels tighter after every corner, all i have to do is holding the steering wheel slightly loose and it will turn itself straight in no time. which is more convenience.
I'm using hankook v12 right now. Change it last year, it has been a good tyre for me. Far cry from the standard silverstone kruizer I was on before that. Been wanting to try the PS3 since it's came out but my hankook still new back then. Now is probably the right time to change it. After using this hankook I think that investing in a better tires is a must. It can determine the outcome during emergency situation definitely. However no brand of tyre can save you if you are driving like idiot on the road endangering yourself and others.

just buy ps3 for my mom's vios.. rm230 each for 195/55/15.. some of my friends (he use ado7 at putra, then change to ps3 after that) say the grip near to ad07 izzit true?

the ziex 912 195/55/15 rm160, parada rm170, toyo proxes rm250.. thinking2 then take ps3...
*
Which shop is that. Yesterday morning I stop by 2 tyre shop in jalan kapar. 1 with hankook signboard and another with BFgoodrich sign. Both quoted me RM240 for the PS3 size 195/55/15. Also the price for toyo proxes you mentioned is cheaper. I want to check out the tire shop that you bought PS3. And does the parada has 195/55/15?

I have done Alignment + Balancing + All tyres change here today at

Tek Ming Auto Service Sdn Bhd
Bandar Sunway, Selangor, Malaysia
  No. 1 & 3 Jalan PJS 11/24, Bandar Sunway, 46150 Petaling Jaya,...
But after first alignment I drive the car going left..I returned to your shop and did second time same thing happened =(  I am very disappointed with the service provided....
Should I go for third time tomorrow or jus change to other shop =( money wasted..I spend extra RM60 to repair the sport rim some more... other than buy 4 new tyres =( =( =(
*
My car did like yours. Kept to the left and I wasted hundreds of money doing alignment. Trying different shops. Each time blaming the tyre shop for not doing the alignment right. Some shop do suggest that my bush is loose. After changing the bush it just WOW!!!. Steering feel precise and tight. My wife complains it feels heavier but that's not an issue with me. It's been 6 months since I did my last alignment and don't feel like doing it anytime soon.
My honest suggestion is go and change your steering bush. I could have save hundreds of my money if I did it earlier. It's not exact science though. Changing steering bush solves my problem. It might not work for you but you can try.

Mine is Proton Savvy...How much does it cost for the steering bush?
*
It should be between 80 to 100 plus2x. I think mine was 120. Some got it cheaper than me. Don't know why the different price. But even if I paid a lot more i'm not complaining since it's worth every penny. It's paying for something like all those worthless alignment that I do regret.

I think your problem is the same with me if after doing U turn the steering takes longer to center. And most of the times it doesn't center at all. Just kept going left.
