QUOTE(igor_is300 @ Oct 21 2009, 11:41 PM) After done with some reading on the interwebs and feedback here, i have decided and bought myself a set of Michelin PP2. Previously i was on OEM tyres which is the Goodyear NCT5 and finally rest at peace clocking 67000km with less 10% thread. after you use PP2 i doubt you will go back for NCT5the difference is just too much. |

QUOTE(igor_is300 @ Oct 22 2009, 03:43 PM) Ic. Thanks dont risk your life lar, will harm the other as well, never put trust in NCT5, even a whole new tires can skid like no tomorrow. What the ? Dunno yet bro, let me test first ermkay ? I'm not track 'kaki' like my friend I drive slow like an uncle It takes skills and guts to handle NCT5 during wet and corner especially when the thread is almost thin. As far as I remember during using the NCT5, I had 2 times controllable skid during high speed. The rule of the thumb is never ever hit your brake hard when driving on wet or emergency braking. Try to control the accelerator first when slowing down and slowly pressing the brake carefully. When entering corner always practice brake first and enter and not braking during cornering. While cornering the only thing you have to do is control the accelerator carefully when taking the apex. Unless there is urgency to press the brake then you have to do so. I'm using 195/55/R15. Bought it around RM225/piece with production date of 'Week 38 2009'. |

QUOTE(e-jump @ Jan 2 2010, 04:23 PM) Thanks for the reply is hard for us to accurately judge how many %% left, we just agak-agak the %% left They were taken with dslr LOL Anyway, with that thread pic, how do you rate the % thread left? Im thinking to get used Parada2 for the right, as the thread for the leFt still ok, NO? the groove (the big longkang at the tire) there got some small knot that come out abit (or watever you call it) that is the safety mark of the tires, when you can feel the knot or the surrounding thread same level with the knot then is time to change the tires. |
