hi all,

well i have been quite skinny but now when i start work i've gained weight.... im 169cm and weigh around 65kgs.

well my body still is quite skinny the only prob is im getting a belly with pure fat cz when i pat it it produces waves all the way around the belly like a water pillow laugh.gif

just want to know what type of exercise or workout i should perform to lose the fat.

I don't go to the gym and i don't have equipment (weights to lift etc) so i only do some pushups and skip rope. any advice?

^^

hmm not really 'afraid' la, more like just not turned on by it, but shrug, some guys like it anyway. I mean, did you read that article in Section 2 in The Star 1-2 days ago? about that woman bodybuilder in SG? Damn huge man, and she doesn't look attractive to me at all. No BF too at around 33 years old. I mean, girls can weight lift, nothing wrong with that, helps metabolism and toning as well as burns more calories, but taking it to extremes doesn't look good imho. There are a lot of pics of american girls who weight lift to get a toned body, especially in hollywood like jessica alba etc, and that looks good.

wow huge breakfast... if you wanna cut calories, change the fried egg to hardboiled/halfboiled egg and full cream milk to lowfat milk. I would say replace cereal with something else but you said can't biggrin.gif

You mean Joan Liew? She had to train constantly for more than 15 years to get a body like that. flex.gif

skylive : wow! that's a huge breakfast. mine was just some low sugar high fibre bread with tuna + corn. if i'm having muesli, i don't eat a sandwich with it. i try to limit the calorie intake between 150 - 300 calorie.

moyong : i think there's a lot of past threads about gaining weight. do a search on "weight gain" and you may be able to find it. If you're finding your belly getting larger than 90 cm, then you may need to do some serious dieting and exercise as it could be leading to insulin resistance, syndrome x and ultimately type 2 diabetes if you don't do something about it now.

arcule : hmm....no spot reduction. have to watch food (yes cutting out those fatty food and carbohydrates) and doing exercise. usually, when starting out to exercise, either walk / jogging. when you wanna do weight training, then it's time to hit a gym.

http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...=bmi+calculator

Go here and use the calculator. How is your BMI and calorie intake? Note that BMI is not that accurate and only used as a gauge.
