And sugar/oil as well. NEVER, I repeat, NEVER buy fried food, especially from pasar malam if u know whats good for ya'. Just watching them fry food in the same oil over and over again even after it turns black makes me wonder why people still buy it, gosh!  doh.gif

Summore u hantam 2 pieces of FRIED chicken breast, die wey...  shocking.gif

Oil for now I take only extra virgin or fish oil, other than that no. As for my meat, mostly I steam or boil, sometimes will grill it but that will be like once everyweek or every two weeks smile.gif

Try cycling your diet guys - eat really healthy, no carbs, no sugar, only fruits, nuts, veggies and meat on the weekdays while eat whatever you want over the weekends. This may sound insane but trust me it works.

This is because if you're trying to lose weight, you don't want your body to get used to a strict healthy diet only, those "cheat" weekends puts your body through an over-eating stage where it raises your metabolism making fat loss easier for your body.

You can cycle it in any way you want. minimum 5 days healthy, 2 days cheat or 7 days healthy 2 days cheat or 30days healthy, 5 days cheat or something like that. Remember to have your healthy days in a row before cheating. no alternating if you really want this to work. smile.gif

To me I think is overall diet sweat.gif
The weekend one is really high carbs, and even you tried not to eat the batter & skin, it's still the same thing as the oil the people use is really unhealthy

My case is once a while during weekdays I'll be eating cheat meals, perhaps out of entire week will be like 2-3 meals will be cheating one then for weekend since Sunday I'll be doing groceries most of the time hence will be a bit healthier tongue.gif

Then better don't cheat tongue.gif

Anyway, I don't think when you want to have cheat meal, you go spoil your diet lo. Once a while have cheat meal for the yummy unhealthy food is fine but if you eat a lot, ain't that gonna waste your effort earlier? sweat.gif

Hahahaha, I have STRICT cheat days each month. Only once a week I allow myself to tipu my diet. On those days, hantam everything my heart desires, but don't go overboard la. sweat.gif
If I'm having like special gatherings with friends or summat, I'd take those days as cheat days, but at the same time, don't need to over-over just because I can. Its all self control, don't think or worry whether u ca or can't do it. When there's a will, there's a way, don't let your mind give u excuses! thumbup.gif

for weekend i know it's high carbs. that's cause during the weekdays i go low on carbs ( apparently not according to you guys sad.gif )
if i don't go high on weekends, for the next 1 week i'll be feeling sluggish and listless unless i go high carbs for a day.

hmm, for weekdays diet, which part is high carbs? hmm.gif
i try allocate carbs for morning only.
bread / oatmeal combi for breakfast & fruits for morning snack. coffee is black as in no sugar.
biscuits for afternoon snack is a rare case. sometimes in the afternoon i'm so hungry? my hands shook and biscuits is a quick fix.

what else high carbs food do i need to cut off during weekdays?
oatmeal combi or tuna sandwich or 1 pc wm bread for dinner?

ps: the diet on weekend is not actually THAT every weekend, the one i post is the baddest of the bad when i cheat. tongue.gif

if i try to suppress it, the craving get worse and when i do finally give in it's bad! hahah!

Yes when I say cheat, you CAN eat ANYTHING you want. But believe it or not, you won't have that big of an appetite when you actually cheat after eating healthy for 5 days. Your body just doesn't take unhealthy foods that well anymore compared to before you started a healthy diet. You might not even like how you feel after unhealthy foods. So overtime, you might not be eating as much even IF that's what you'd like to do. smile.gif

You just gotta make sure that you DO go back to your regular healthy diet after cheating for this to work. Don't get comfortable cheating. Haha.

Don't worry about your cheat days spoiling your overall diet plan. It's strange that it actually helps. What these cheat days do is that it tricks your body to keep guessing when bad foods will come. You can be eating healthy for like 10 days, body will start adapting to a healthy diet then boom! You surprise it with a bad meal! What happens now is that your body works extra hard to burn the foods that you ate = increased metabolism.

The longer you can go eating healthy before you add in the cheat days, the better this will work. For example, 1 month of a strict no-carbs diet then 1 week of high carbs diet. You'll be surprise how much you'll lose after those cheat days. smile.gif

I always lose a lot whenever I go on a vacation and eat everything that I see. Haha!

hi there! i'm always running into you over here! haha!

belly fats can be caused by a lot of factors - a major one being hormonal. people that are high in cordosol (a stress hormone) usually carries fat in the mid area. are you getting enough sleep? are u stressed out? are u a smoker?

all these play a great role in trying to get rid of belly fats. smile.gif

something else to include to your workout if you really want to get abs - do sprints first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. it'll take only 5 mins but it is intense.

treadmill: max incline, speed: 9 (adjust accordingly but you should be working hard - at about 80% of your capacity)
sprint for 1 minute, rest 1 minute [5 rounds]

have fun!
