Y walk and not jog? Point is to have ur heart pump faster. Try jog for 45 min and 3 times a week. Also google HIIT and see whether u wanna try tat.
Just like bulking, u need to watch ur diet if u wanna lose weight.
Eat 5-6 small meals a day and try avoid taking too much carbo (rice/noodle/bread etc) at nite.

I don't eat rice.

As an alternative, crackers; Jacob wheat/cream crackers.

More on fruits, veggies and tofu.

So difficult to get six pack.
I can 'see' my six pack slightly visible...just that the love handles sweat.gif

Wonder stopping sugar/sweet drinks could help.

Dear all,

I went to a slimming centre 2-3 months ago, and they guaranteed that I could lose two sizes (to M size..I was XL then.)
if I signed up for their treatments. So I did, and after 2-3 months, I didn't lose much at all.(still wearing XL and only lose ard 2-3 kg)
I am eligible to request the slimming center to increase my session if they fail to reach the target as guranteed,
as I have signed a so-called Assurance Letter when I signed up for the treatment.

So, I talked to them about this. At first they asked to me to do a medical check-up, and they wanna take a look at my medical history.
Then, they changed thier mind and said that if I passed their urine test on my remaining visits (which was ard 4 times back then) there is a big possibility that they will increase the sessions for me.

Now, I am requested to do a blood & urine test.(Again, never mention about whether they will increase my session or not)
They told me that by looking at my test results, their nutritionist will be able to help me with my slimmng problems.
I dunno if there is such thing or not? Does anyone have similar experience here?

Please advice!

thanks for your "precious" comment, but my main purpose is still to find out whether there is such thing as
"by looking at ur urine & blood test, we will be able to help you with your slimming problems."
are u trying to say there is no such thing?

i understand that some people who prefer to workout when it comes to slimming,
well, i can't do it, you can look down at me.but still, i hope that my decision will be respected.

doh.gif You might as well just eat rice. What kind of nutrient are you getting from crackers? It's basically empty calories, maybe a wee bit of fibre here and there.
At least rice is whole food, with small amounts of protein.

You're still taking sugar/sweet drinks, but wondering why you've still got love handles?! doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif

You've already kena conned the moment you stepped into a slimming centre.

I don't believe they need so many blood & urine tests. Blood & urine test all those are probably to delay you and make you sick of getting poked by the syringes repeatedly. Now kena conned repeatedly. Too bad. whistling.gif

Seriously, slam the tables and demand to see the boss, demand refund, demand kaukau until they give you what you want.

Before.
But not too heavy.

You need energy to jog.

Morning Cardio

I do advocate doing cardio first thing in the morning before eating any carbohydrate meal. If you run or do cardio after training (like I do) I would advocate eating your protein, Branch Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs) and other supplements (including CLA) before doing the cardio, and it will actually further supercharge fat loss while preventing muscle catabolism (wasting).

I do recognize that there is no conclusive evidence that morning cardio is the best method, however there's quite a bit of scientific literature supporting that doing cardio prior to ingesting carbs will burn more stored body fat (because glycogen is not burned).

Try it first. I don't think you would think about 2nd set after the first set of Tabata. =)
Remember, MAXIMAL EFFORT for 20 seconds... not some half-assed moderate intensity.
It's a great method, when done according to Tabata Protocol.

Another great training: RossTraining's No Excuses
http://www.rosstraining.com/articles/noexcuses.html

10min. 4 exercises (burpee, pull up, squat, push ups). Full body workout. And you will sweat for 1 hour+... which means your metabolism has been increased.

P.S. tabata weight lifting (dumbbells)? You mean curls with Tabata?!?!

Because nowadays many people die because of sports. So, may I ask, under what condition sports will make someone die??

Now, everyday I also go jogging, Speed is 6.6 to 7 km/jam, and I will jogging for 1 hour to 2 hours. Is this will cause me dead ??Beside that I am also a vegetarian.

TABATA CURLS?!?! shocking.gif
I think doing curls and sit ups for Tabata is downright non-sense.
It may be difficult, but there aren't any worthy benefits. Due to the low weight, it doesn't build strength or muscle. It only uses too little muscles, it doesn't increase metabolic rate. The only benefit is this: increase in biceps curl stamina. blink.gif
You are better off doing curls using normal way.

Tabata is meant to increase anaerobic performance (increase stamina for high intensity movements).
The side benefit of Tabata is: your metabolic rate will increase for a long time after you rest (some ppl call it afterburn effect). That's why it's so good for fat loss.
To get the most out of Tabata is to use compound movements that you can move quickly (push ups, chin ups, squats, burpees) or continuous high-speed movements (running/sprinting, cycling, rope skipping, rowing machine, dumbbell swings).

If you're not panting like mad after tabata cycling, it's too slow, too light or you are not using max effort. You won't get the afterburn benefits. Just don't go too crazy until you fall off a bike or break a bone or get injured.
