Me male, 33.
5'7"
75kg (65kg would be my goal)

Jogged 30 minutes, 3-4 times a week.
Ate normally...rice twice a day.
Lower ab crunch...100 (25x4 sets)
Situps...50 (25x2 sets)
With exercise ball.
I know...not enough tongue.gif

But still got love handles around waist.

Any advice?

Good thread.

Could help though.

But still, exercise and healthy diet is a must.

I normally eat rice twice a day.

1. Can lose weight if only eat once a day during lunch?
2. What to eat for dinner?

Hope can offer me tips that does not cost much RM.
Losing weight should make us save money, not spending more.

I meant saving money in a sense like NOT spending thousands of RM at fitness centre or liposuction etc.
Slimming pills etc.

Still spend little money but on nutritional foods for healthy diet.
Just change eating habit.
Save budget.

Some say it's not effective.

Mine is type A;

Hi.

Let say we do work out like dumbell etc.
Our muscles grew bigger correct?

Do big muscle contributes when we weigh ourselves?

Example;

Before work out...weigh 70kg.
After work out, 72kg. Those extra 2kg came from those grown/big muscles.

Is it possible?

I changed my workout schedule.
Instead of jogging 3-4 times week for 30 minutes to EVERYDAY laugh.gif
Diet still the same.

Last 3 weeks...normal trousers were 34 inch.
Now...can wore old 32 inch again tongue.gif

Hi.

I want to ask about 'Stubborn fat' on the lower abs.
Can diet & kardiovascular get rid of it or operation is the only way?

I love my weight at the moment; 67kg at 170cm.
When I hold my breath, I can see my six pack 'hidden' beneath the love handles (lower abs)
My upper abs are pretty ok...I can feel the hard muscle.
I think it will be visible when I'm 63kg.

Experts did say the lower abs is the most difficult part to work at.

How ya to get rid of it?
Need to take those supplements such as Lipo 6 etc.?

My daily diet;

Rice once a day.
No oily/greasy food
Coffee once a day (for sugar blood)
Jogged 30 minutes daily.

Hi.

I'm curious.

When is better to jogged?
Morning or afternoon?

Only difference that I notice was in the morning we felt more energetic but make sure we took breakfast 1st.
Afternoon, body felt weak a little.

Maybe fat burns better in the morning? hmm.gif

Hi.

Those 'love handles' we had.

Sit ups can easily tone those upper abs but lower abs and oblique are difficult.
Always add diet & cardio.

My question is; 'Oblique crunch are crucial?'

Hi.

To lose weight, what to look for when buying food?

1.Fat %?
2.Carb %?
3.Calorie %?

Lower the better.
But which one is the main goal to lose weight?

Hi.

7 April would be a month for me with no rice at all tongue.gif
So far so good.
After three(3) decades I realized rice made me sleepy.
+ 30 minutes jogging everyday.

Hope got my six pack/chocolate abs by Mei 2010 tongue.gif

69kg now.

Let say we're on low carb diet.
How many carbs (mg) per day should we take? hmm.gif

Blame the mindset and education of Malaysian hehe.. By the way, will read through, thank you very much.

What you eat everyday? Mind to share?  smile.gif
*
Tofu is good...low carb; <2 grams.

Jacob's Weetameal crackers.
7 pieces = 17 grams.
Fruits and veggies.

Change lunch meal from rice to veggies & fruits etc.

I'm glad though I stopped eating rice.
Not sleepy or lazy anymore.

Need to be committed & discipline to reach the goal though.

Last week in 'Sunday Mail' paper got article about 'Rice? No Thanks'.
Some even lost 30kg after stopped eating rice.
Interesting article.

Basic though.
While working in the office we don't need too much carb.
So, take less one.

100 grams rice = 79 grams of carb.

'Eat when hungry, stop before full'

I know it's not easy to ditch those tasty foods.
I even put a six pack abs as my PC wallpaper tongue.gif
Motivation biggrin.gif

Bare in mind after 40 years old we cannot ate as much and as variety as our younger days.
If we do, easily get sick.
Better start dieting now.

Those fast foods are VERY dangerous to our health.

Jogging 30 minutes per day.
100x lower abs crunch.
50x mid abs crunch.
Using exercise balls.
Push ups 31x.

That's it.
No time to go to gym tongue.gif

Honestly, I don't recommend those medication supplement; fat burners etc.
Instead, better spend those money on healthy foods as part of daily diet.
