wat is apparent here is you have only 3 meals in a day. whether one is bulking or cutting, one has to split the meal (>5 meals in a day) throughout the day. for each meal, try not to eat too full. this is to make sure tat your stomach keeps burning the food throughout the day and not just specific hours like breakfast, lunch and dinner. thus, your body metabolism will increase. dun b surprised tat even if you skip dinner, you might not lose any weight bcoz ur body thinks you are 'hibernating', thus help u to store the fat you had in the morning for breakfast.

y rice in the morning?? so much rice throughout the day, it's all carbo which will turn into fats if you are not working out at all. the reason you are overweight is due to these carbos. eat more lean meat, vege and fruits and cut the rice!!!

don't take it on daily basis.
whenever u eat, peel off the skin. get rid of any visible fats on the meat.

65kg is not obese dude.
in fact you shoud gain some weight.
>70 kg should b respectable target. since u r a football player, it must b ur diet tats lacking.

i can see u r a bread man. if you eat white bread, it's the same as having rice. y not replace ur breakfast bread with more eggs. say 3-5 eggs for a start. u can also have egg for ur recess time as well as lunch. egg = protein, less fat. you can have oat for breakfast or tea time.
try not to have rice at night. go for meat and vege/fruit.

If you see my pics, i am. I have belly and trouble losing my chest fats. I hate my chest fats. It looks ugly when im wearing my club's jersey.

Yea, im planning to hit 70kg with 14%BF with muscles, not FATS. Okay, breakfast will be changed, but for recess time, the problem is my school canteen doesn't sell HALF BOILED EGGS sleep.gif I've currently stopped the intake of rice.. And for lunch and dinner, i'm starting to eat fruits..

Well, still don't know what's good for my whole set for lunch and dinner.

Many thanks for ur suggestion bro! smile.gif

Hi~
I owned a workshop and work in a workshop~
I usually jog after my work~ I used to read tips on diet~and what food to take~
But you know as a foreman~ my work is tough~ i sweat and use a lot of strength always~ So i eat a lot~ and to jog x2 + my working is not easy~  i strictly dont take supper~
But i still cant lose weight~ it is only maintaining~

So if anyone can guide me in my foods and exercises ( without gym) i would really appreciate~ thanks~

Any  fat burn product pills/drinks to recommend??~

tell u guys wat, it's about trial and error, watever i say might work for u but not for him. so u got to try, if u think ur current lifestyle doesn't give improvement, it's bcoz ur body has adapted to it. you have to change.

@Damien

you don't need to eat only half boiled egg all the time. there are many ways to cook it. easiest is hard boiled eggs. do it in the morning and bring to school. if u wanna gain weight, simple. more calories. fruits dun give much of it. u need meat and u need to eat alot of clean food. you are not on typical girls diet, where u restrict urself from food. u need to eat. alot. and make sure it's clean bulk whenever possible, i.e. no fried stuff, less fatty food, less carbo. if you totally eliminate carbo food like rice and bread, where is ur body going to get the energy? ur body might think u r trying to reserve energy, therefore, it'll store more fats.
so best way is have 5-6 meals a day and not typical breakfast-lunch-dinner diet. this will make sure ur body constantly burns food and therefore consume more energy.

@boarulez

are u overweight? if u r, then it's easy, u r not eating enough.
the theory of eating less and burning more does not apply to overweight ppl. this, i learn from The Biggest Loser show. ur body might think u r always trying to eat less to save the energy, same theory again. therefore those fats are forever there. u need to split meals, 5-6 meals a day, try it for a month or two.

errr i tot u wanted to go to 70kg, no?
how r u going to achieve tat if you dun eat and eat and eat?

DO NOT have supplement as food replacement.
always try have it after solid food. if you have it b4 solid food, u will feel bloated and next thing u know, u wanna skip meals. if u think u wanna replace rice in ur dinner, try have more fruits and more vege coz u just wanna eliminate as much carbo as possible but at the same time have same/more calories in. it's ok to have rice for lunch, u still need carbo after all, just need to know when to take it.

to lose fats, u need to do cardio, running/jogging/cycling/swimming.
cut fried food, fatty food and cur carbo.

u can do both cardio and strength on the same day.
if u feel tired easily try do on alternate days.
to me u can always eat healthy especially breakfast if u pack to work
just need some discipline to wake up early and prepare it

@9018,

can i know ur weight and possibly ur height.
i'm on bulking stage, so i dun give a damn how much calorie i consume, i just down anything i can see plus some supplement.
losing weight is easier for me than gaining weight.
i was 50kg and around 165cm 5 yrs back, now around 65kg. when i was thin, i din eat breakfast and my lunch at times could be just a cup of milo, all due to my laziness to eat.
then i changed for good. if u think it's hard to lose so much in a short period, u can always take it slowly. do it the healthy way.

you have to train for weeks and months to improve it.

Height 163. Weight 68kg. Still not in the wright BMI. Recomendation Janson?

i'm no expert. don't really think u r overweight. two main things - diet and workout.
Diet - CUT CARBO!!!! CUT WHITE RICE, NOODLE, WHITE BREAD ETC. Remember to have 5-6 meals each day, each meal dun make it heavy. this is to make sure ur body doesnt stop burning food, therefore 'working out' internally.

QUOTE(razor909 @ May 24 2010, 07:03 PM)
do squats,lunges, push ups, and sit up . you dont need weights to do all these, you can even do them at home.
*
where is the resistance if there is no weight?
ur own body weight is not going to give much resistance for ur own body.

Guys just want to know, when ever i have to stay back at college, i go to a chinese veg for lunch, and pack my self with vege's and 1 mock meat dish. I want to know, isit better if i get brown rice or noodles(doesn't look oily/greasy). Which is better for weight loss diet? I normally eat chapati at home, but...its not as tasty outside, so i opt for chinese veg.

yes, im a vegan
*

ur college's chinese stall provide brown rice? if tats the case, go for it, rather than noodles. even chapati is a typical carbo made of refined flour, therefore a no no.
if you r saying u go for chinese vegetarian stall, pls b reminded not to take too much artificial vegetarian meat, which is essentially flour+artificial flavouring+a lot of persevatives+coloring = bad. go for REAL VEGETABLES.

how do you guys deal with lunch & dinner in those shopping mall? I always end up in those fast food franchise because don't know how those 'not-famous' restaurants taste and how they charge.
*
if money ain't a problem to u, you can always go for restaurants tat provide steaks and fish, like chilis.

I wasn't laughing at ur English. It's just funny how u described ur situation. It's important u get the basics rite. Try not to skip meal. It's the most dangerous thing to do if u wanna lose weight.

i read in bb.com tat it's not a bad idea to jog with empty stomach as ur body uses the stored fat to burn to get the energy since there is no carbo available.

@bikerzfrenzy

there is no reason for u to avoid rice.
YOU NEED ENERGY IF YOU WORK OUT!!!
u just need to know the right time to have it.
reduce the intake for dinner. during lunch u can have normal meal of it.
when ur body senses tat u have no/limited carb, wat it does is whenever u have it, it will try to store as fat so tat it can b used when u r realllly in need of it. so dun make ur body think as such.
