That would be interesting and it would be great if they replaced the ECU/TCU with a newer and better one. I have been studying the behavior of the car (especially the TCU since mine is an auto) and i think i've managed to find a bug with the lock up. My transmission will not lock up from starting the engine unless i have cycled through all the gears and come to a complete stop after the engine has warmed up. I can consistently reproduce it from a cold start (i watch this behavior every morning when i go to work). Anyone else notice this? Gen2 cps auto.

lock up??? not sure... can you explain a little bit...

however, mine is normal from my point of view...

Yeah, if the authorities fix those potholes especially the one at the corners, it will be more enjoyable. nod.gif

What is transmission lock? All I know is the auto tranny R.I.P (kong/dead/innalillah). And your way of cycling throu the gear sound to me like the miths to prolong the gb. What mith? Someone told me to prolong the auto tranny, need to cycle throu all the gears because most ppl doesn't use gear 1 in the city hence giving the D gear an extra work.

QUOTE(sphiroth @ Jul 16 2009, 01:31 PM)
Try searching it in google maps ->Jalan Juruaudit U1/76 (near politeknik shah alam)

What is this RACE you referring to? All I know is the mech shop name is SPS. They got 3 outlet around there, in pucong 1 outlet and terengganu 1 outlet.

In glenmarie, jalan juruaudit got 1 outlet. the other two near giant shah alam(Tadisma business park?), just around the corner.

Maybe its when the gb downshift and stay at 3rd gear and doesn't upshift when you put pedal to the metal (very useful when overtaking).

Feel itchy to upgrade my braking system. Between Steel Braided Hose (RM255) and Cross drilled disc (RM400), which one offer better improvement? From what I've read, the former should be upgraded 1st.

is it Gen2 default HU or other model?

if it is Gen2's i guess the HU already come with auxilary input, what you need to do is only a little modification to connect some wires and 3.5mm audio jack. Not really sure too, try check at the ICE thread.

I've been following this thread as much as my career allows me to. And proud to say, I just had my first drive in my gen.2 cps this afternoon. Received it last week.
Awesome car.
However, I've noticed that my accelerator pedal vibrates slightly when i achieve speed of 90kph and above.
Any of you guys having the same problem?
Or is it that the engine hasn't been broken in and I shouldn't have gone that fast?

our standard is single pot, twin pot means there is 2 piston and 4 pot means 4 piston.
