Hola Everybody... another proud CPS owner is coming in...

MRL - Gen.2 CPS (H-Line) Nanbu Black - 1691 - AT

Currently on stock config, 5k++ mileage...

Problem arised:-
1. Knocking sound on left side suspension
2. Air cond got some weird sound at high speed cruising, like sumthin loose vibrating coz of being blowed
3. Weird sound (like tire screeching sound, but it isnt the tyre) at the back on right hand side. probably sumthin sliding on sumthin but dont know what yet...
4. CD player hanged upon key remove randomly (happened twice already), need to cut the power supply to the head unit to reset.

Problem Rectified:-
1. Knocking sound eliminated after 2nd service (5k) by putting in some grease at the lower arm.

Top Speed Reached: 180km/h (without hassle)
Lowest FC: ~5.6L/100km (100% highway, constantly 110km/h at 3100RPM using autocruise)
Highest FC: 19.9L/100km (100% city driving)

1st Service (1k):-
Petronas Syntium 800
@ RM 98

2nd Service (5k):-
Shell Helix (forgot what grade it is, but it's mineral one)
@ RM 80

I got this problem with my Gen.2 once on my left side suspension. I got it solved by putting in some grease on the lower arm of the suspension... probably will work for you too...

p to the s: all FC calculation done manually. I dont trust readings from meters for city driving

as far as i've heard about campro being turbocharged (proton is planning one isn't it???) they replaced all parts with better materials... so, in my noobie opinion if you want to turbocharged campro (cps or non-cps) is not recommended... better go for transplant...

it's probably ok with the SC in BP if you are their regular customer... but according to the t&c, they need the service book for authenticate that you dont violate the warranty t&c...

i thought it is normal if the car pulling a bit to the left as a safety measure to avoid head on collision if you somehow off from the steering??? but may be not if it's too much...

lock up??? not sure... can you explain a little bit...

however, mine is normal from my point of view...

is it Gen2 default HU or other model?


if it is Gen2's i guess the HU already come with auxilary input, what you need to do is only a little modification to connect some wires and 3.5mm audio jack. Not really sure too, try check at the ICE thread.
