Hi guys,

I am planning to buy a waja cps AT. Ordered the car from the mutiara damansara showroon since last month 13th or so and paid the booking fees but until now also no news from them.

Then went to the the mofaz authorized dealer in taman tun. The SA there told me can get the car quite fast, max wait for 2 weeks. Don't know now want to get from who  cry.gif
Waited so long for the car, now felt like want to change to honda city or toyota vios.... and not to mention after reading through the threads, waja cps seems suffer quite a number of issue.
So want to ask all the waja cps owner here, is the car worth buying? or the money can be better spent elsewhere. My friend had been brainwashing me to get better cars  sad.gif
*
Being said a better car....that term is subjective. There is also a lot to consider when purchasing one~ If you get a City or Vios then the installments would hurt you every month. Has anyone read the forums on the City and Vios? Those have it's fair share of problems. You are buying a car to be used for a long time~ it is not like you use it a couple of months then get a new one right?

Hey people, i have been considering to get the Waja CPS for quite sometime now. But the thing is whether is now the correct timing to get a car? I'm in fact not in a hurry to get a car but i a bit kiasu to loose out on the current RM3k discount. Do you reckon that the car price will reduce next year, like say maybe after CNY or is there any possibility that the car interest rate may increase or decrease in the months to come? My dad says to wait till next year after CNY as more agents are willing cut their commission to get sales due to the current economy condition but i disagree with him. And he says that since its we are already almost in the middle of the year now, why not wait till next year after CNY to get the 2010 batch? I reckon that at that time, they will be selling the old 2009 leftovers to usher in the new rumoured Perdana/Waja replacement!! What do you guys think? To buy now or to buy later?
*
Wow~ a lot of questions. If you are not desperate then wait. If your bum itchy then just buy it lor.

Yes it can~ but only to a certain extent. If like after futsal and such with a full load of sweaty Samuel E'to i dont think it would work. whistling.gif

that is crossmember bar

Yeah which is used to hold up your engine and gearbox~ if you are not satisfied just because of the dent then get it changed. Not that costly~ but seriously what is the fuss? Not that it is causing your car to steer to one side ka~ or add vibration kaaa~ or increase your FC ka~ Chill lah. flex.gif

Okie...like this. Try and check if your mounts are in any stress. Turn off the engine and park on level ground. The mounts are to be straight and no unexpected bends in the rubber. If there is then it is under abnormal stress~ then you should change your cross member. Other wise no need to.

Blame it on the start stop traffic laaaa..... tekan abit then jam.... tak sampai 4k rpm 2nd gear already traffic in front. If you try do constant highway 110Km/h I bet can reach 380KM full tank.

mix city+hway drive if full tank shell i can go up to ard 480-500km.. full tank petronas can go ard 450-470km... mix up vpower + hijau (i.e rm 30 vpower then tmr fill up shell hijau until full tank) can go 510-530km... but then now i can only get ard 450km using shell and 430km using petronas..  hmm.gif

no la.. its the right foot.. hahah..

450 to 480km is average for me too. my speed average is only 50-60kmh daily city driving. so, as u can guess... mainly city dirving is not good for cps.. its needs to ROAR!!

tongue.gif

Well I do believe to a certain extent that a car follows the attitude of the driver. If lets say a Civic Type R is driven slowly all it's life then the engine will never mature to it's full potential~ like a baby lah~ you never teach it then it will be slow lah.

I've been reading a lot about the gen2 cps and I've already planned on getting one. The corolla seg I'm driving is kinda due.
I need some help regarding the sales agent though. Do you guys have any recommendations?
Is there a particular sales agent that's commendable or any proton edar agent will do?

thanks.
*
Please go to a branch not any dealer. The presale and post sale service is far better than any dealer can give you. Plus you will get your car much faster. I bought my Neo CPS from the branch in Glenmarie. icon_idea.gif

Same problem with my Neo CPS~ but it getting less and less. Perhaps a few more weeks of daily use would season it nicely. thumbup.gif

The SC (COE) also put this 15w50 oil into my engine during the 5k km service. The foreman said it is to 'cleanse' the engine from any metal debris before going for fully synthetic during the 10k km service. hmm.gif

Eh~ how often does the SC does the alignment? On my first service they did not do any. That was 3 weeks ago.... then last saturday i went to a tyre shop to check my alignments for my fronts and the output showed that my rear camber is all messed up! one side +1.5 the other side +2.0
