hmm.. what exhaust setup and brand is recommanded ?

No click sound for me too. The surge does come at about 2.8k RPM but it depends on how I drive. If I'm really pressing the accellerator then it's 2.8k RPM. If I'm driving lazily for a week or so when I suddenly want to zoom zoom it's like a bit later. The ECU adapts??

Nice setup there... The first one is s-flow muffler right..? cps owner need to mod little bit the header as it not same as the non cps campro..

Hotbits and Powerzone .. , I rememeber by seeing Hotbit selling as whole set exhaust system for Campro
4-2-1 + S-Flow is better for mid/pick up while 4 - 1 + Straight Flow is good for end power ,right ?

I think I prefer 4-2-1 + S-Flow ,since I always drive in city/federal highway
Welcome welcome,check everythings , and make sure your CD player can play mp3

I'm using 4-2-1 header + 2 bullet (long ones) and straight flow muffler with original piping and its sound loud. Espeacially when decellarate using engine braking.

just to share my experience
i have go 3 times at 3 diff SC to rectify those nyek2 sound..
sound gone for 5 min and come again way home, so frustrating..
my fren test drive my car said the problem come from rear trunk..
i just lubricate my trunk hinges, every trunk damper joint and lock mechanism top and bottom wit WD40 n prob solve..
my fren black gen2 cps got same prob too..i just apply the same method and his prob solve too

I'm not sure about the SC people method..
but when DIY the lubricant method can last about 3 month before dry and sound came again
so i just spray again at the same spot and the sound gone
i'm quite confident that the root of the nyek2 sound prob...
10 month own my cps = 3 times spray and prob solve

Change your tail light to M5 style rear light. Will looks more cool..

I did called this guy just now.

He said my Waja 4G18p cannot be done cause of timing reset sensor, which i believe Campro and CPS engine do also have. So expect all Proton mode starting from Waja cannot be done.

I have one question. do any of you who are using gen-2 cps have the key-ring light turn on? The one around your key-hole. I have it but it doesnt activate like my dad's old wira. I brought it to the service center and a guy said gen-2 cps don't have the light like wira. so what the purpose of putting it there. sigh.

er...anyone fitted their cps car with captor? the old batch of neo/gen2 i think fitted with captor rite. our new car the same or not? hehe

i think the nyek2 come from the backseat.i fix it during 1k service.they put some masking tape or something on the steel holder of the back seat.btw,mine is gen2 cps.just now my car suddenly hard to start,hav to try starting twice.dunno y.still below 2k km

Hi guys,

I am planning to buy a waja cps AT. Ordered the car from the mutiara damansara showroon since last month 13th or so and paid the booking fees but until now also no news from them.

Then went to the the mofaz authorized dealer in taman tun. The SA there told me can get the car quite fast, max wait for 2 weeks. Don't know now want to get from who 
Waited so long for the car, now felt like want to change to honda city or toyota vios.... and not to mention after reading through the threads, waja cps seems suffer quite a number of issue.
So want to ask all the waja cps owner here, is the car worth buying? or the money can be better spent elsewhere. My friend had been brainwashing me to get better cars 

Yeah, I wanted a long term car, that's why hope that I invested in the right car. Vios or city is within my affordable ranges, but at times like this seriously I would really prefer to keep more money in my pocket.

btw, just imaging the solution of the 'ngek ngek' sound in altis is swap in new suspension and sound gone..
this is big prob lor   unlike minor solution for proton cars
my fren work at T SC say many same case for altis lor
he oso said many overheat case for new camry
T not high quality enuf

just like to find out if there is any tuned length exhaust manifold for the CPS engine?

Hey people, i have been considering to get the Waja CPS for quite sometime now. But the thing is whether is now the correct timing to get a car? I'm in fact not in a hurry to get a car but i a bit kiasu to loose out on the current RM3k discount. Do you reckon that the car price will reduce next year, like say maybe after CNY or is there any possibility that the car interest rate may increase or decrease in the months to come? My dad says to wait till next year after CNY as more agents are willing cut their commission to get sales due to the current economy condition but i disagree with him. And he says that since its we are already almost in the middle of the year now, why not wait till next year after CNY to get the 2010 batch? I reckon that at that time, they will be selling the old 2009 leftovers to usher in the new rumoured Perdana/Waja replacement!! What do you guys think? To buy now or to buy later?
