Hi guys,
I am planning to buy a waja cps AT. Ordered the car from the mutiara damansara showroon since last month 13th or so and paid the booking fees but until now also no news from them. Then went to the the mofaz authorized dealer in taman tun. The SA there told me can get the car quite fast, max wait for 2 weeks. Don't know now want to get from who Waited so long for the car, now felt like want to change to honda city or toyota vios.... and not to mention after reading through the threads, waja cps seems suffer quite a number of issue. So want to ask all the waja cps owner here, is the car worth buying? or the money can be better spent elsewhere. My friend had been brainwashing me to get better cars |

hi lexasp,
Unfortunate 4 u still not get the car yet. Mine only 9 day from the day i book till got the car, proton edar plentong JB. The key is, call ur SA twice a day, till he fed up with u. Hehe, it's our money we paying rite? Em, i can't say much if u can afford for a 'better car'. But for me, at rm60k, i got all around leather seat and door trim, leather wrap steering, xenon HID, ride comfort, generous internal cabin space, responsive engine, it worth buying Waja Cps, let alone the poor internal part fitting (glove box), 'ek ek' sound of front fender. I think 4 all the goodies u got in Waja, u got to pay rm85k for Vios (forgot s or g series) and 90k for city. It's my little tought only, just for sharing. |

There is also a lot to consider when purchasing one~ If you get a City or Vios then the installments would hurt you every month. Has anyone read the forums on the City and Vios? Those have it's fair share of problems. You are buying a car to be used for a long time~ it is not like you use it a couple of months then get a new one right?I am planning to buy a waja cps AT. My friend had been brainwashing me to get better cars As for me, in comparison between my father's vios dugong and waja cps, i dont think it is worth paying the extra 20k. The interior of waja cps feels even more luxurious than the vios. Of course there are some minor issues with the waja cps, but let me warn you that the current quality of toyota cars are not that great either especially those CKD and made in Thai.. The only real winning point for the Dugong is the engine..damn fuel efficient..AT fuel consumption can be as low as RM0.11/km for highway cruising as compared to my manual cps..RM0.13/km. Not too sure about the current honda City though |

My passanger side window 'drop' this morning. Spent 2 hours at SC fixing it (FOC). But still love my car so much...
About the Vios/City vs Waja CPS, do ask at the respective car thread. Lots of info. But the best way is to test drive all these car and choose the one that suited YOUR driving style, not someone else. |

guys, i just wanna ask this. my gen-2 cps AT cruising at 100kmh with the rpm at 3k. *autocruise mode* . Is it the same with the rest if u cps users? cos i think it's quite high, it should be less than 3k.
btw, im going for my 1000km service tomorrow. hehe cant wait to rev hard after the service ! |

mrjgx,
Below is the waja cps review done by paultan. "The other interesting fact that we noticed was the cruising engine rpm at cruising speeds. The CPS allows the engine to cruise at 2,000rpm at speeds of 80km/h and approximately 3,000rpm at 110km/h. This is similar to the cruising speeds of most 2.0 litre cars with either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed auto transmission. Smaller engines tend to cruise around 2700rpm at 80km/h. Low engine speeds are beneficial because it allows for improvement in fuel economy and comfort." Read more: http://paultan.org/archives/2008/08/10/pro...ixzz0IGbfw2RI&C so, think it's quite tailly with the review. maybe after ur first service, ur cruising speed can a bit higher. yours Gen2 cps HL AT right (got autocruise)? its kerb weight is 1245kg while the waja cps drove by paultan is MT with kerb weight of 1215kg only. so u'll cruise a little slower than the waja MT at 3k rpm. It's my little tought only, just for sharing. |
