hi guys. i recently buy pioneer subwoofer s-rs3sw. since this is my first real subwoofer, how do i make sure that this subwoofer can last long. any tips of do's and dont?

is it much better to set the front speaker as small and let the sub do all the work?

i read the instruction telling to make sure the reciver is on first before the subwoofer and to switch off the reciever first before the sub too. is there any bad side effect not following this?

From the rates add around RM250 for delivery of 30kg from KL to Sarawak. I assume it will only be worth it if you can get cheaper shipping rates, ie, around USD100 or less per piece of sub. I'm talking about the PC/PB-12+/NDS size.

If you can get cheaper taxes, or savings on the sub price, then more worth it.

Asking for advice :

I have a equipment shelf with spaces at the back. I intend to place my subwoofer in the space behind the shelf. That means the sub will be directly behind the equipment. I am wondering whether the subwoofer sound will mess up the equipment. All the boom boom will spoil my equipment????

It is not advisable to do so as the bass will cause vibrations to your equipments making it less than ideal for AQ.
