Hm, I already have a SB-600 (my dad's actually) but people under my horoscope Scorpio don't like to 'share items' haha.. must have their own. Also, I am still a high school student, an SB-900 would be far out of my budget range.. maybe I'll try a third party one first, then maybe next year or so will get SB-900.

Btw, if you have SB 600. Then use it for the time being la. When you have the budget then only upgrade.

Hi, i'm using D40x. I'm thinking to update firmware and i'm looking at Nikon website just got A 1.01 but don't have B. After i'm update, it's write A1.01 B1.00...isn't okay?

lightroom 2.3 user here. Same with you, I like HDR and likes to use RAW as well. But currently still using FINE quality JPEG, since i haven't bought 8GB SD card... still using 2Gb doh.gif

if i take RAW on my D5000(at highest 12mp),
my 8Gb + 4Gb card oso not enaf doh.gif
total can take around 800 pics compared to 1.5k+ on JPEG

the prob with raw is that it takes a lot of space in my HDD..so later if got time need to final edit most of the raw files and save in jpeg..

Space for RAW is the problem for most of us I guess. Imagine over the next 2 years if we upgrade to newer models with higher megapixels.

i read from magazines that 1 full size RAW file from a D3X is about 60mb... sweat.gif
