QUOTE(project-o @ May 30 2009, 08:12 PM) Used to have a YXTM battery grip for D40 (same as D60) looks flimsy but when you mount it on... it is ok. I think the main problem is that bodies like D60/D40X/D40/D5000 are not designed to use a battery grip. means D40/D40X/D60/D5000 dun have Nikon battery grip designed for them? This post has been edited by General_Nic: May 30 2009, 09:04 PM |

QUOTE(project-o @ May 31 2009, 08:47 PM) I'm guessing is that it is the meter. Meter is not 100% accurate. From the shadows I'm guessing that the background is brighter (from the girls' t-shirts) in these situations you should turn the flash on as a "fill" light. Anyway you can try using "P" instead of "Auto". i was rushing here and there taking pics, no time change settings, so i used Auto QUOTE(kimurastanley @ May 31 2009, 08:51 PM) The white shirts 2 girls wearing fool the metering system of the camera. U can increase the exposure compensation to make it brighter. i think the white shirts r not the problem, cos many other pics of people in other color shirts oso gave same resultsUsually i'll look at the photo after i take it and adjust accordingly and take the second shoot if not satisfied with the first one maybe is becos the area is a basketball court, and the floor is grey cement? QUOTE(shutterdll @ May 31 2009, 09:24 PM) use A mode, let shutter adjust itself. u can enable Auto ISO too. the ISO was auto, even if manually set highest still same btw, nice pics u have there! QUOTE(zellleonhart @ May 31 2009, 10:47 PM) Did you use flash to fill flash? Even with exposure 0 EV, the shadow on the girls' face should be eliminated by fill flash... Auto mode...flash din auto light up... n wanted save battery, so din manually on flash... This post has been edited by General_Nic: May 31 2009, 10:57 PM |

QUOTE(Firdaus92 @ Jun 1 2009, 07:15 PM) Tamron 18-270mm VC same price with Nikon 18-200mm VR eh??Maybe I look at the price wrongly last time. Forgive me walau, RAW makan a lot memory leh...Anyways, guys, regarding my question earlier, what happen if i compress my picture to save hard disk space since I'm already running out of space now?Either JPEG or RAW picture. not only hard disk not enaf, memory card limited pics... y take pics in RAW in the 1st place if u gonna compress your RAW pics to JPEG now? it defeats the purpose of taking in RAW... n wat for have good cam that takes good pics but compress it later? burn your pics into CDs or DVDs la, or invest buy another hard disk or an external hard disk |

QUOTE(kimurastanley @ Jun 1 2009, 09:08 PM) ya, compress after PP-ing the photo. Keep a original file after PP-ing so that the photo quality will no be degraded again and again after each PP-ing no problem doing that, if u got large space hard disk la imagine keeping copies of pics from a D3X at full resolution, dunno how many hard disk |
