im not really concerned with the grip fitting on d40/d60..im just asking, IF lets say the grip fits d40/d60 will it autofocus?.. project-o said that there's no  sync terminal on d40/d60 to plug the cable in, is that correct?
*
i dunno D40/D60 got sync terminal or not cos i nvr check
but if got sure can, if no cant la...
but is it sync terminal?
the cable suppose to plug into the wired-remote shutter release port, is it sync terminal?

Haha.. two important factors to take note.. but their classes looks cool though. Saw them photographing a model outside their shop/base while restoran mamak-ing with friends nearby.

it was a 50mm 1.8... the slimmer one wif no afs motor (advantage of the D80 was dat it had a built-in motor)

You thinking of buying 50 1.8 ? I'm actually thinking of selling as since I got the 35 f1.8 I haven't used the 50 f1.8 at all.

contemplating the right uwa for me.. either the tokina 11-16 f/2.8 or the sigma 10-20..which is the best bang for my buck?

the sigma is the widest i can get at 10mm but the tokina has a fixed aperture at f/2.8. hmmm..built quality, IQ which is better?

Guys, is it worth getting a battery grip for my D60?I'm eyeing for the Phottix with the vertical button version - RM200 including postage. If add one more battery, RM250. I just bought a Nikon remote control,ML-L3 for my D60 for RM50 and cap ayam diffuser for my SB-600 for RM29. So fun playing with it laugh.gif Maybe after SPM only I'm going to buy a new bag + new lens for my baby D60 (still young tongue.gif )

maybe we can go buy together, was looking for one too thumbup.gif

i'm thinking of the sigma, since i've played with the lens itself already, kinda comfortable with it, as i think i dont really need f/2.8 for my wide shots.. sweat.gif

but im concerned in terms of IQ..which is better?

built quality also..

and im quite afraid of sigma because quite a number of sigma owner report of backfocus/front focus probs with their lenses (other sigma like 70200 2.8 and 18200 and 1850)

not sure about the sigma 1020..need to do some research.. the tokina is proven to be a better contender than the more expensive Nikon 12-24

buy it only if you think that you need to have a better grip on your d60...if you're just fine with holding the d60 on its own..dont buy it, instead buy one/two more batts..

it's really quite hard to find a new d40 kit.. there's a lot 2nd hand but hard to find a new one.. if you know where to find it, it probably costs around rm1.5K for the kit.

Picked up a D5000 kit over the weekend, checked the Nikon site (before I paid) and it was recall-free. Fresh stock at the shop, it seems.
