Strangely, the D60 listed here

states the D60 price as RM 2388. Maybe they haven't changed the price or D60 will be discontinued altogether.

whatt?? it's only around RM5.8k body only.. a D700 will cost you around RM7.7k. big diff there..

if lets say the price is almost the same (which in reality it doesnt), if you're buying a FX D700, you're not just buying a better body but u must also buy better FX lenses which costs a lot more..yup u can use a DX lens on FX body (it will auto change to DX mode), but then why buy a FX body in the first place..

do u want a tele zoom lens? the tamron 70-300 or sigma 70-300 is cheap but it doesnt have VR which in my opinion are most useful at ranges above 100mm. i dont really recommend any of these lenses.

I would suggest the Nikon 55-200VR for that price. Yes it has shorter focal length, but it has a better IQ (image quality) and VR to reduce handshake effect while shooting.

The Nikon 70-300VRii is more expensive but it has superb image quality and also a newer VRii.

I highly suggest Sanyo Eneloop. It's realiable, powerful and most of all i dont have to worry about it even if i left it for a month or more without recharging. It can last for a YEAR and still retain most of it's power...google it.

depends on which lens u are looking at. eg: tamron 1750 is said to be better than sigma 1850
however, i will avoid getting 3rd party lenses

THE pic is overexposed at the top portion which is the sky..really bright there. u should PP it or maybe next time decrease the exposure by one stop and see the results and also meter at the sky rather than at the ground which will make the sky look as it should be. try and test around with those settings.

I do not suggest buying either sigma/tamron 18-200 as at the tele end (200mm) the aperture goes to f/6.3..it's really slow. Worst still for tamron because it it has a micro type motor which is slower than built in body motor like in d90 and af-s lenses.

i cant really recommend u anything because im not sure what u want and what ur budget is.

Budget?
Do you want an all rounder - like 18200/18250/18270 but scarifices IQ and focus lock speed.
OR
A tele zoom like 55-200 or 70-300 and dont mind exchanging between lenses..

again..what is your budget?
