Hi there...I want to know if anyone know about this problem i'm having oh...
My E71 hang and when i off and on again, the screen remain blank. Not even the welcome note appear leh...Any reason or solutions? (before sending to the service centre)

I'm on the same boat as you. I want to get the blackberry because of push email and BB messenger.
One thing about blackberry is that when you travel to another country, your phone bill is going to hike. Because you cannot swap your sim card with a prepaid in another country. With the E71 i have right now, I can swap between different sim cards when I travel oversea, which is easier.

If you are rich and do not care about the roaming rate or purchasing apps, by all means get the blackberry.

But at the moment, I still prefer the E71 for my usage.

1. price (i bought mine for RM400 with Maxis corporate plan)
2. i have free unlimited data plan with my Maxis corporate plan, hence allowing me to use Nokia Email's push mail service which is equivalent to BB's BIS . even though it's only free temporarily, but oh well i can always use back the phone's email software and set it to automatically receive emails every X minutes. not push mail, but it gets the job done.

5. software availability

is there anyway to change the default internet browser on the E71? each time i click on a link in my email, it will launch via nokia internet browser.

i'm using opera mini and i prefer it to be my default web browser instead. issit possible?

Not possible.. I also trying to do it.. But as i read all over the net ...there is jus no way..

anyways, anybody got a free sudoku game for E71? tried searching on the net but to no avail.

thanks man. the problem i have is that my video files is in rmvb format. and i have used so many encoders to change it to avi. file has been successfully encoded. but then when i play this encoded file (avi) on my phone using the realplayer, there's only sound but no picture. so i've no choice but to find a rmvb player lor...

Added on June 14, 2009, 4:38 pmoh man!!!! another futile attempt. Mobile24 has this software called RMVB Player. Upon running the sisx file on my phone, it prompted error 'File Corrupt'.
