today when i was at Sunway Mentari. i can see my reception bar going up n down like see-saw. then it kept switching between 2.5G and 3.5G

then i could feel my phone was damn hot, and then i couldn't receive calls/sms and couldn't make any calls/sms.

i off-on the phone again then it went back to normal.

could this be because the network was fluctuating that caused the phone to kinda hang?

U using wat telco? if u dont use 3g turn it to gsm mode only.. Dual mode will cause the phone to constantly looking for 3g hence eat up battery and heat up as ur line is in a middle of the two (2.5g and 3g) wat to do our country telco 3g network is no so stable yet.

hard to xplain
by da way below is the trick n tips to get better gps signal

*Stand where you have a clear view of the sky. Buildings, hills, trees, etc., will block the signals from the GPS satellites. The goal is to receive the signal from as many GPS satellites as possible.
Hold your GPS at shoulder height. Even your body can block the signal from the GPS satellites.

i'm using Maxis 3G as i'm using Nokia's push mail for my work mail and other mails. i think the 3G network in sunway not stable thats why. well i can always just fix it to gsm mode only and use Edge for my mails i guess coz im downloading headers only.

anyways, thanks for the Borat voice....freaking funny and awesome when i tested it out this morning to work ehhehehe

ya if u r not celcom it is best jus stick to gsm la.. maxis 3g is not tat wide yet, waste battery nia as our e71 cant get a stable lock on to the 3g signal. gsm is fast enough for almost everything except video chat, the borat voice is damn dunny right, i lol each time i operate my garmin.

Hey guys
I have been having a problem with my phone's ringing.
All these while it has been very loud but recently, all my incoming call ringing is soft loud soft loud soft loud.
And when it's soft, it's quite soft.
I have set everything to loud, ringing but still to no avail. Anyone out there who has an idea what's wrong?

Edit
Hey guys, I manage to resolve it. Reset the phone to factory settings and it went back to normal. Weird.

Well setting it to umst only is a bit risky aint it.. As not the whole msia is umst able yet.. While gsm is available in whole msia..
