easier alternative would be to use paypal. Paypal accepts CC from malaysia and itunes accept paypal. Done.

all paypal transactions in US currency right?

Mostly. And, if you're planning to buy from the US iTunes store, it's also gonna be in USD.

Do you mind elaborating how do you manage to use your paypal to make us itunes purchases? Does the paypal a/c must have us address exactly the same as the us itunes a/c?
How about using paypal a/c registered under malaysian address and Malaysian credit card?

not too sure in your case, but i first updated my firmware to 3.1 using the then, previous version of iTunes.

once the first synchroinisation & backup has been completed, only i proceeded to install the latest iTunes 9.

following that sequence, every feature advertised, works like a charm.

iPhone-iTunes synchronisation time has definitely improved vastly and the iTunes on an XP boot camp MBP, is more responsive compared to the previous version

nope. i don't jailbreak my iPhone anymore (after some unfortunate incidents).

besides, i'm reliant on the local warranty and cannot afford to jailbreak it.

One more quetion, anyone here changed itunes ID before? let said i change my itunes id from bbb@hotmail.com to vvv@me.com, am i going lose all the apps and games that purchased previously?

technically it will not.

however since i'm not entirely sure myself, i will suggest that you shoot an e-mail to the iTunes representatives.

they are highly efficient and you will receive a response within 24 hours (at least for me)

urm i successfully turned on genius mixes on my itunes9 but i really dont knw how to turn it on my iphone? been looking everywhere for it.

hi... I installed iTunes 9. Auto-update from iTunes. but when I click iTunes Store there a pop-up asking me to enter username and password.

"To access this website, you need to log in to area "IronPort Web Security Applience" on s650-2.irondemo.com"

I dont wat i means so i entered my itunes account user and pass. does not work. I keep poping all the time. I cant access to iTunes Store...
