I have a problem opening my apps after syncing song into my iPhone via iTunes. When I press on the apps it just pops out for half a second and pops back in and displays my menu. What is wrong.????

your iTunes (used to sychronise) is not authorised.

if you have more than one account, make sure that your PC/MAC is authorised for all accounts.

I've authorized it already. But it's still the same. Do I have to sync again?

i'm not physically there to see what you have done. so you might need to resort to google for other solutions, i'm afraid.

Anybody know where I can get a spare sim holder for the iphone 3gs?? I lost mine =_= and while i was looking for it my daughter pushed my sim card into the phone.. now tis stuck... anybody know how to remove it also???

Failed to upgrade my iphone 3G singtel set to f/w 3.1.
The itunes indicated that my iphone has to be restore, so I proceed the restoration, but restore fail as well, error code 1603.

I've tried restart my pc, plug the iphone into the rear usb port. Both didn't work, same 1603 error code. Anyone here face the same problem?


Reinstalling itunes9 now, see if that solve my problem.

Updates: Problem Solved
Restore using a new user account

Create a new user account on your computer and try to restore while logged in as the new user. iTunes will download a new version of the software restore file. After creating the new user, log in to that account and open iTunes and attempt to restore to see whether the issue persists in this new user.

Haven't tried remove the sim card, going to try it later if it still didn't worked after reinstalling intunes.

hey. i experienced the same issue while trying to update my iPhone. turns out the problem is less complicated than i thought. well i hope its the same scenario in your case.
my phone was connected to a ubs hub before being connected to my mac. i dont knw why but once i took the usb out and connect it straight to my mac, the problem was solved. no doubt, they still asked me to restore my iphone but everything in the phone is already backed up. so after successfully installed v3.1, you can restore your phone back to how it was, it will prompt you.

I've tried that, connecting my iphone directly at the rear usb port, but it didn't work as well. Anyway, problem solved, my iphone is back alive again.

anyone can tell me how to get genius mixes on my iPhone? posted before but no one answered yet.

That feature only works for 3.1.

Update to the latest FW & download latest iTunes and i should automatically appear on ur iPhone

i did. but unfortunately it doesnt show. *sigh
there is only the normal genius, the list view. i cant seem to activate genius mixes on my iPhone.
any other suggestions?
