Howdy my fellow iPhone posse,

Well since I have yet to receive my iPhone, I was wondering if I can purchase some apps and games from the iTunes store in advance and then later load it to the phone. Can this be done or do I need to attach my iPhone to the iTunes store first?

if you purchase the apps/games from the iTunes store in your computer, you can load into your phone after that.. Alternatively, you have an app store application inside your iPhone where you can directly download apps into your phone..

Yes, you can purchase it in advance as long as you have a legit iTunes account.

But I would advice you not to until you get your phone because there MIGHT be updates on the applications when your phone arrives thus you'll have to re-download them again. (Without paying again of cos)

Even after having an iphone, i still usually download the apps 1st on itune and after several days of finding the whole bunch tat i like, i'll sync all of them into the iphone. you can indeed start doing it now for both free and paid apps. sync them when u finally got your much-awaited iphone. if i'm not wrong, the iphone can have maximum 11 home pages, i.e. approximately 160 apps for u to download

i just format my laptop and i install back itunes.but the problem is i 4get deauthorize itune to the laptop b4 i format.now when i authorize, it says i have authorized 2 pc out of 5..any idea to deauthorize back?

It doesn't look like there's a fix for it but there's nothing much to worry about. Once U have reached ur 5 accounts, U will get this option to 'DeAuthorise All 5 Accounts' - that way, U can reset everything back to normal.

Please note this function can only be used once a year.

Ive gotten my iphone yesterday and since yesterday i encounter this problem when i first sync songs into the Iphone. Then it came out with a pop-up from iTunes saying apps such as mobile wikipedia etc etc wont be sync into the computer because these programs are only for mobile use. After that when i tried to open the programs stated on the pop-up in my iPhone. i cant open. it just bounces out and close. any solution to this bug? i have to redownload all the programs again in order to use =.=. PROBLEM!

the apps re-springs back when you attempt to tap on them, because your PC/MAC has not been authorised yet.

try doing that first.

why not i bought some apps using debit card . im using public bank debit card btw.

not sure if i should post here but i do have a question regarding organizing songs with itunes to my iphone.

i have a few compilation albums and when i load it up it becomes impossible to browse by artist because the artist category will be flooded with random names

is there like a way to make iphone to not show the names of the artists from compilation albums (besides renaming the artist for each track?)

is it possible to remove apps automatically from itunes if those apps were removed from my iphone?

For now, if I removed those apps from iphone, my itunes will only disable those apps for sync. Then I have to manually remove those apps from itunes.

I want the apps to be removed automatically from itunes also. Have searched in itunes but cannot find such feature.

I don't think there's a feature for U to delete all downloaded apps. Y would U wanna delete it anyways?! It's not like it's taking up a lot of space on ur computer, or is it?!

U don't want browse by Artists then go for Browse by Songs or Playlists

I want to delete them from itunes. No point keeping them after playing with the apps. Downloaded a lot of apps from itunes shop. Those especially free ones that I don't need already.

the applications in apps store i can purchase using malaysian credit card right?
n if my account is US acc can i purchase the apps using credit card?
the rate follows US currency is it?

for Malaysia App Store, yes you'll only need a CC issued in M'sia. while for US App Store, you'll need a CC issued in the States. best way is to obtain a iTunes Gift Card.
