Hi, is it i dun have any visa card, i cant create itunes acc?
i wish to download the free applications..

Is it normal when I click iTunes from my iphone it says "Cannot Connect to the iTunes Store, the iTunes Store is not supported in this country"

But when I click App Store, no problem wor.

try to log out and login again from Settings -> Store -> Sign out -> enter your credentials

Yup did that and didn't work either. Am I missing anything?

Also I've read on how to create US itunes acc but now I don't think I'm able to do so coz there is no option for me to click [ none ] on the credit card page.

no idea then. because my american account was created ages ago.

however if my memory serves me right, that method still works as prescribed. your best bet is to google the 'latest' method to bypass this.

or simply purchase a relatively low value american based iTunes gift card and register.

Tested on the Jap and US account but failed. Confirm that it doesn't allow you to select [ NONE ] in your credit card page.

Tested on i3G[S] OS 3.0.1

just created my JP account 2 weeks back and the NONE option is still available then.

2 weeks could be a long period.

Appreciate if anyone can just create an account starting from today and see whether the NONE option is still there. As for me it didn't show.

just tried and yes, the NONE option is still available for both US and JP iTunes Store account.

make sure you click on 'App Store' on the left (any region of iTunes Store), select any FREE app and click on 'Get App'. (instead of selecting songs, movies etc.)

then when it prompts you for your iTunes account username and password, choose 'Create a New Account'.

My bad, I tried it on my iphone itself and it didn't gave me any option.

I remember I read somewhere by getting US itunes acct can get USD50 free..I already have US iTunes but no free USD50?

guys after i this problem after trying to jb my phone.

the first time when i tried to update my firmware to 3.0 using standard jailbreaking procedure it hanged halfway because i wasnt on the latest itunes.

so i updated to itunes 8.2.1.6 and it couldnt read my iphone altogether it keeps saying 'this iphone cannot be used because the required software is not installed. run the itunes installer and then remove, then install again'. although however, my pc reads the iphone camera.

i tried reinstalling everthing still the same problem. the weird thing is i tried on other computer's itunes some can read my iphone some cannot. any solution guys?
