You didnt answer my question dude.

But if youre saying that you wanna sync ur iphone to a new pc now, uve gotta do some trivial things like transferring ur apps, data, contacts and other contents to your new pc before syncing.

If however, you're still on the same machine that got upgraded; have a look at the backup location to see if it's still there coz u can then just restore from backup. (this obviously cant be done if it was a fresh install obviously)

You can get them by right clicking ur device's name in iTunes and select transfer purchases. BEFORE THAT however, remember to authorize your new pc with your Apple ID(s).

That'll take care of your purchased contents (apps, movies, mvs, songs etc) from iTunes and App store. You have to google to find out for the rest of your contents ie songs, mvs and contents that weren't bought from iTunes/App store on how to move them from your current iPhone to your new PC. Basically have to use a third party app like DiskAid/PhoneView to get them all back.

Your contacts won't be deleted. Even if you to sync your contacts, it'll ask whether you wanna merge, keep or delete, so just choose keep the data in iphone.

Photos that were taken from your iphone can be transferred using picasa or another substitute. Pictures from your old machine that was synced to ur iphone however have to use the same 3rd party app as above to get them all back.

Currently I'm using Iphone 3Gs for a year & all my Contacts, Apps & Songs are save it to my computer by Itunes.

Recently my wife has bought an Iphone 4 and I want to share all my Apps & Songs except Contacts to her...

For the Apps & Songs are no problem to me....but how is the Contacts?

I mean normally we do back up all of the contacts to the computer in case we loss it....

So can I separated 2 back up contacts into one computer? and how?

I've authorized my PC but i still get error message:

“Some of the purchased items could not be transferred to your iTunes library because you are not authorized for them on this computer”

To authorized this computer for items purchased from the iTunes Store, choose Store > Authorize This Computer.”

I see no problem for that.

Plug in your iPhone 4 and setup as new. Rename your wife's iPhone for easier allocation of backups.

Click your "wife's iPhone name" on the left and tick which to sync and what to remain. After done ticking, press SYNC only.

Everything is being shared by these ticking of yours. Contacts of your i3gs will remain un-sync. The drill is to "setup as a new iPhone" instead of "backup from.......". You can have multiple backups via iTunes. Not to worry.

Lastly, don't forget to authorize your iPhones.

hi guys, I have problem with my iphone 4 camera.
The image is too clear even in dim yellow light. I compared with my friend's iphone. His is normal whenever taking photo under colourful light but mine is just clear like under white fluorescent light. Whats the problem here?

Guys, i got a prob. One afternoon all of a sudden, everything that is in my iTunes (music, podcast, books & apps) were gone. i suspect my 2 yrs old was playing with the folder maybe he removed/deleted some folder that has got to do with iTunes. i managed to retrieve my apps with the "Transfer purchased from iPhone" option but how to i transfer the rest (music, podcast & books) from my iPhone?
