Looks scary le.
I queued buy Lionind at 0.70 and went to work.. Now break time.. chk all matched ady.. Lionind buying vol very big past few days hit 0.75 All coz research house gives high rating for Lionind TP 1.61.. Last year Lionind highest was 3.10 on May 2008. Last few weeks time Lionind drop to around 0.58 - 0.60 was very attractive... i bought some at 0.605 but sold at 0.61 for peanuts profit... Now plan to accumulate some on price weakness...seems good for short term or long term play. QUOTE(panasonic88 @ Apr 8 2009, 05:28 PM) |

i think bursa fked up their system.
their new system with the last done price was designed to prevent price manipulation at closing but this was exactly what happened. If you look at the top counters in klci, all of them had trade that were executed during the closing session (last 15 mins) that was lower than the last price before the closing session. |

I was monitoring TMI where lot of buyers at rm 1.85 at about 4.45pm Suddenly big lot of 5000 or so appeared to sell at rm 1.81 at 4.47 pm or so. Why need to key in lower when there were still buyers at much higher level ? I guess Bursa does not really care . This post has been edited by SKY 1809: Apr 8 2009, 07:16 PM |

QUOTE(SKY 1809 @ Apr 8 2009, 07:14 PM) It was a clear manipulation . Even if the person key in at RM 1.81 the transaction will still be the best buyer price RM1.84 . Most big company like EPF will have to key in lower price in order to match all their order. Sometimes my company do that too when they are buying a few million at a time.I was monitoring TMI where lot of buyers at rm 1.85 at about 4.45pm Suddenly big lot of 5000 or so appeared to sell at rm 1.81 at 4.47 pm or so. and the best part it, when i tried to sell at their last price, their system screwed up and wouldn't execute my trade.
I was selling a low volume counter, ICAP to be exact. Last price was 1.44, the higher buyer queued at 1.45 (20 lots), and there was a buyer at 1.44 (40 lots). I sent an order to sell 35 lots at 1.44. By logic, the system should match me for 20 lots at 1.45 and 15 lots at 1.44. But nothing happened, i couldn't cancel, called my broker and they couldn't do anything coz the bug happened at bursa. Looks like i found a bug in their system. Hehe |

I bought Tebrau @0.415. It is link with Iskandar devt. and being Khazanah owned. So to me safer than KNM on a short term basis. I also hve KNM. Terbau had been steady for the whole of yesterday and only got my order matched towards the last few mins. Can be a goreng counter in short term though I hve locked in another batch at 0.425. Motto choose stock that has some potential. Goreng if time is ripe but oso can keep if price goes down. Just my policy (sori not "my 2 cents". Ha..ha..ha...) No offense though. |

Oil below $50. Plantation stocks might get a beating today. I expect KLSE to be red today, at least marginally.

I want to ask. Is there something wrong with Bursa system today? My main system M2U is dead (due to my company) and my backup system price also a bit funny. E.g. some counters got all the data, but some got missing data like last done price, high, low even thought there is vol...

QUOTE(tessei @ Apr 9 2009, 09:27 AM) yeah recently i think i saw an article stating that the 2 by election victory by PKR, shows weakness in the existing Gov and could be a sign for political instability in the long run especially upcoming GE.(Who know's one day putrajaya may be relocated to Kuching or Labuan in view of te possibility opposition capturing Putrajaya ?)* It seems there's some heavy selling of RM and strenghtening of the USD, which indirectly is a Boom for TopGlove. I anyone wants to hedge their risk against RM/USD, would be wise to pick up some TopGlove shares. So long as the USD keeps appreciating that is. |

i think today is most likely just the last legs of the rally before it starts going down again. Trap for all the people who are picking up coz they are afraid to miss out. The volume is not convincing at all.
Unless we close near the highs on Monday, then that might be a different story. Should be a good opportunity to clear all the stock and reload your bullets This post has been edited by elhh82: Apr 9 2009, 09:47 AM |

If you look at the Yen/Usd exchange rate, it correlates quite well to activity in the emerging markets. When the yen drop, there will be many foreign money going into the small markets, when it goes up, money dries up.During the last 3 weeks mini-bull, yen was dropping, fast. Since monday, the yen in reversing the down trend and gaining again, and this coincides with the lower and lower volume in klse. So thats why i think this is just a last desperate push before turning back. Of course i might be completely wrong. just my 2 cents. |

Still at lower end, it translates more than 7% yield. Cashflow generation every year around 10-20 million can be expected if without major new investment. Debt free, sitting with 170 million cash, which translate about 2.50 cash per share. Singaporean own and management. Can't buy too much, below hundred lot still ok, more than that difficult to buy and sell, seldom trade, liquidity is low PE is around 11 based on lasteset Q earning of 14 cents. Don't expect much from it as it is a boring counter, even when CPO reached 4000 time, its share was around 8+ only. As it won't be fund managers targetted stock due to its low liquidity. |

When will you enter the market again? well, i dun trade like u all lol. everyday you all check in, i check in maybe once in a week or once in 2 weeks. If follow day to day movement sure panic and die. like air asia, i bought it when it fell to around 0.95, and then it continued to drop to around 0.8 plus. but i held it cuz i just knew around sometime it march 2009 it should be back to above 1. and so i finally sold at 1.06 anyway i've entered into Maybank at 3.88 yesterday evening, and plan to sell sometime around July - August time period, and expect to make some profit. Otherwise i dun mind holding till late this year. i dun advise people to follow me though, cuz i dun use any formula but rather my own gut feeling. Hasnt failed me so far and so far all my trades have been profitable, though some are small fry profit. all i want is to have my returns more than what i'd get compared to putting into the bank deposit 0.95 air asia (one of the shares i bought at that time) around end of nov sold at 1.06, is about 11% profit for me in around 4 months. so good enough for me This post has been edited by Baronic: Apr 9 2009, 11:39 AM |

The sad thing about DIY investments.
You spend so much time doing research, and you know they are good . But finally coming to a major decision, You lose the confidence. Even you jump into it, you jump out too soon. Are you well paid for your research ? |

I just thought of something and I'd like to share with you guys. Give me your feedback.
I went to a free preview talk by one of the local traders. She said her trading strategy is to follow the money. Follow the money means following Foreign Funds. From my memory, this is how it works. FF will come in to buy the shares... then goreng it up. At high price, it will slowly sell 80% of its shares. Then the last 20%, it will sell aggressively to make the price fall alot. Small investors will get scared and follow to sell. Then when time is right, the FF will start buying up cheaply again. I don't know if what she said is true or not. But if it is true, then maybe our market hasn't bottomed yet. This depends on what the FF wants to do. A few weeks ago, The Star pointed out that the FF has less than 20% equity in the stock market. If what the speaker said is true, then will the FF use this last bit of shares to sell down the market? Look at Oct 2008. Our market crashed. Many counters price dropped alot. The problem is, at that time, the FF were selling because they wanted to repatriate the capital back to US. Not because they wanted to profit. So even when prices were low, they still sold. The speaker's analogy: Sell 80% to take profit, then sell 20% to crash the market. What happened: Sold lots of shares to repatriate capital back to US. Now left with less than 20% equity. What will the FF going to do with the remaining shares? Will they sell down the market, or will they sell these remaining shares at the best price they can get to minimize their losses or maximise their profit? Remember, they didn't profit enough when they sold their earlier shares. If FF take first action, then market hasn't bottomed yet. If FF takes second action, then likely market has already bottomed. i doubt it the local market will be hoodwinked by FF especially when they only control 20% of the equity market for the time being...
With ample amunition in stock from the 2nd stimulus pack, soverign funds like EPF, ValueCrap aand so on may have sufficient funds to discourage such attemps to deliberately manipulate the market (on a grand scale). this is however the reverse in the futures market. simplesmile: This post has been edited by aurora97: Apr 9 2009, 02:10 PM |

To certain extent it is true.
They sold Genting aggressively down. Resort World could be another. When they left, Genting bounces back. |

QUOTE(whizzer @ Apr 9 2009, 03:00 PM) it is a form of money laundering and also possibly market manipulation but to prove it is all together a different matter because not only is it international but its covered with layers of dirt. Most likely any attempt to find the true entity will lead to one brickwall and another brickwall.normally.. the KYC policy is only very basic and only go so far just to scratch the surface of things. If a person or entity were to hoodwink a local bank or IB, its not all that difficult... you just need someone wif inside knowledge on how things work. |

QUOTE(simplesmile @ Apr 9 2009, 02:00 PM) I just thought of something and I'd like to share with you guys. Give me your feedback. Do not think FF must be good. I would say the speaker look too high on them. Why people always have high regard on them? Because they come with big bullet and aggressive, which when they move, they move in big which send the market sky-rocketing and market surge for some period of time almost non-stop. Every fund managers's account is not transparent, nobody knows whether their goreng is successful earn them money everytime. They could fail to goreng up and stuck with it which is quite norm. Every years there are plenty of hedge fund doing superbly but there are some funds closing down. If everyone of them (FF) are indeed that good, we won't have this financial crisis which those financial expert bring down 100 years old history financial instituition. Also don't look down on EPF and PNB, they are not dump too. They are the sellers as well during last bull market. Every goreng start and come with different pattern, you cannot forsee and predict accurately each time. It is like chess game, you can start your pawn in various way. If not, everyone can guess it, and take advatange of it, by then their goreng won't be successful. Theory always sound easy, real trade and real world is not that simple that must be this and that. It is just like a chess game. If you try to predict what opponent will be doing, your chance of getting right is no different than hitting the lottery. Instead better concentrate on your strategy and tactic instead of thinking how other will move. See other move already, then adjust tactic and strategy according. Second guess what they will be doing is just wasting time only. It just like predict what you will eat to night, pizza, KFC, roti canai. Why we do investment based on fundamental? instead of goreng or short term trade? Because we don't need to second guess how other or future what price other will be buying or willng to pay more price than currently. We just need the company make enough profit and give dividend to us. The one we can know, is that most retailers like to chase after the stock after surging or greendish time, which they don't look back the stock has been rising 2x or 3x or even more, they just buy according to their gut and feeling good about the market time which goreng syndicate capitalised on. |

QUOTE(whizzer @ Apr 9 2009, 03:00 PM) It is not considered money laudering at all in this way.Goldman Sachs is a investment bank (not become holding company), they can just buying based on request from some clients. Whether they actually own or not own or buying based on their decision, we don't know. Just like you buy a share let say xyz through M2U, the record will show M2U is the one buying xyz, not you. In actual investment world, it is much more complex, just a simple illustration. |

QUOTE(cherroy @ Apr 9 2009, 03:21 PM) It is not considered money laudering at all in this way. say Mr. vincent a Malaysian had open an account with Goldman using his 888 company as a client, he directs Goldman to invest in Malaysia.Goldman Sachs is a investment bank (not become holding company), they can just buying based on request from some clients. Whether they actually own or not own or buying based on their decision, we don't know. Just like you buy a share let say xyz through M2U, the record will show M2U is the one buying xyz, not you. In actual investment world, it is much more complex, just a simple illustration. Isn't there hints of Laundering? Some may legit investment reasons doin so but unless proven otherwise than we will need to know the reason and intention of why a person is doing such. Imaging if all banks ask you for a copy of income tax form before accepting FD deposits.
6 months down the road, there would be a bank crisis. More right issues on the way. Saying is easy, no doubt. |

If authorities are slow to act or the criminal gets wind of authorities taking action imagine the PDRM Commercial Unit taking action, they are not only over-worked but the backlog is horrendous, the money could be half way around the world by than. QUOTE(aurora97 @ Apr 9 2009, 05:32 PM) Even though the provisions are there, like i said again and again the Banks (including mine) isnt doing enough or closing a blind eye on things. Banks has no obligation to report any million of deposit that putting in. Also they can't prejudice on it, someone bring a few million in to deposit, bank can't straight away know and suspect it is "black/dirty money", right? If we are talking about small community in a small village, possible as you know who is rich or doing busineses or really rich one by doing legitimate in a small community. But now we are in million of people in KL city area. How do you know he/she is not rich or those money is not obtained through legitimate way. We don't know and having a clue on any stranger come to the bank to deposit or doing financial transaction. Banks are just doing business, they are not authority, banks will cooperate to reveal if there is an evidence and requested by the authority. If not, they can't do much about it. It is the job of authority to tackle it through proper set of law, rules and regulation, and action. Also bare in mind, it is a breach of privacy if banks blatantly exposed customer deposit or banking activities. No doubt and agree money laundering is a serious issue which need to be tackled. But it is not easy task to tackle, financial tools become more and more complex days by days. Even ponzi scheme is rampant with internet age which ponzi scheme is run on full daylight and openly, but still it is hard to tackle. Not to mention the money laundering issue which often being done more profession way than ponzi scheme. Cheers. |

US market is in good mood for Easter holiday coming out.
Well Fargo said will be reporting 3 billion of profit, boost the market. But there are some negativity news in between also especially stress test on banks if found they need more bail out money can be a huge negativity factor. But the stress test will only be concluded end of this month. |

QUOTE(cherroy @ Apr 9 2009, 09:33 PM) US market is in good mood for Easter holiday coming out. Is the crisis bottoming out ? If reported earnings are higher than expected, is it real or just more stimulus money doing their thing and creating smoke screen of economic health Well Fargo said will be reporting 3 billion of profit, boost the market. But there are some negativity news in between also especially stress test on banks if found they need more bail out money can be a huge negativity factor. But the stress test will only be concluded end of this month. |

QUOTE(whizzer @ Apr 9 2009, 09:54 PM) Is the crisis bottoming out ? If reported earnings are higher than expected, is it real or just more stimulus money doing their thing and creating smoke screen of economic health I do feel it is bottoming or in the bottoming process. But market or economy shouldn't shoot back up straight away. Some range bound and side way trend is good for the market as economy is not recovering or yet. It just mean the worst has passed, but it doesn't mean we are free of problem, just it is not as worst. Slowly healing and market adjustment is something or realistic expectation. But some company may not get through this period of time. This is the primary risk of current stock market. It is bear market rally, just mean previous fierce and fear selling is done for time being, now market correct back with overly done selling. One key supporting fact for the market why stock find hard to drop to even more i.e. Money has nowhere to go worldwide especially with massive injection and stimulus package around the globe. |

QUOTE(cherroy @ Apr 9 2009, 08:20 PM) Banks has no obligation to report any million of deposit that putting in. Cheers. i think i have to open a thread on this topic. |

It is the changing of accounting rule ( mark to market ) that " allows" banks to reports good profits. That would create wealth throughout whole world markets.
The change of accounting rule/law that could save many jobs in the future, though many accountants do not agree. But if it is the benefits of the whole world , why not ? This post has been edited by SKY 1809: Apr 9 2009, 10:31 PM |

Accounting is just a " fair value" judgment, never be perfect.
It is always assumed that a co is able to operate On A Going Concern Basis, then only the rest of the rules are applicable. If a co is "dying" likes a person, that diff sets of rules applied. Correct me if I am wrong. This post has been edited by SKY 1809: Apr 9 2009, 11:07 PM |

Yup..true more on speculative for some of the stocks... some still quite ok.
If really want to play high risk beta stock, need to cut lost if drop to ur target... same goes to good stock counters. Dun let ur guard down too much..coz mistake will cost money lost. Huaan.. if u see its PE very high.. 432! Compare to Zelan PE now only 2 and have shares in IJM value about 0.80 +/-.. IJM shares rise coz more construction project expected.. so zelan for me Zelan is a good play around 0.72 - 0.735.. Too bad i didn't managed to get it coz i bz buying Lionind. Since monday.. i expect market will retreat.. T+3, profit taking etcs.. but still market chiong up back. I re-enter back Lionind this evening.. buying vol quite strong... seems like still have ppl pushing Lionind price up 0.74.. like past few days pushing it up till 0.75. Maybe they have some insider news and start to grab now...or maybe coz of OSK research report on LIONIND. v_viper88 QUOTE(Baronic @ Apr 9 2009, 10:14 PM) i did. actually yesterday evening but today's price is about the same, Maybank at 3.88 This post has been edited by viper88: Apr 9 2009, 11:34 PMi say dun go for high risk stuff la. thats a real gamble, as movements are highly speculative rather than something fundamental affecting it. chances are u'll either miss the rise, and by the time u get in, its going down or you buy in, and realise there's no rise for the share. 93x level is crucial for KLCI, break it, we have a new trend, if not still stuck with the range, 93x is the previous high for near term.

QUOTE(cherroy @ Apr 10 2009, 09:45 AM) At least you get 1 egg out of it and some goose meat. cherroy, you wouldnt lose on this counter because it is one of the good dividend counter (with good company growth). a 12.5 sens dividend is coming soon. Although you lose the chance of getting 8 eggs, better than others lose the goose (loss for those buy last year one) and get nothing. (knocking myself at the wall...my cost was 3.02, sold for 1 egg, thought market would come down!!!) |

i don't think we're out of the woods quite yet, still stuck at 930 resistance.
i also sold everything yesterday for about 8% trading profit overall over the last month. will re-enter if we break 930 convincingly. or if we drop back to 8xx |

You don't time the market for long term investment especially those can still give constant dividend one, (sold first then hope buy back later at lower price), this strategy a lot of time backfired. I have fair share of experience on it, that's why I don't intend to sell Panamy and Shell which has been years as well as Axreit now, unless have to sell because of poor fundamental or any other reason. (knocking myself at the wall...my cost was 3.02, sold for 1 egg, thought market would come down!!!) But please don't sell long term investment target for the sake hope it come down little afterward then you can buy back. By doing this way, when bull come time, you lose the opportunity of getting banana only. Just my experience. |

i think on a week to week gain comparison between the
rest of the industry v plantation... the plantation industry is experience more or less a steady increment compared to other sectors. the drop and increment comparison is not as aggressive to certain stocks, but at such a high now i doubt it would be a good time to pick up any plantation cters for the time being. The question to ask is? 1. will it hit CPO price hit 3K 2. or will it slump back to 1.5K -1.9K 3. summer in the western hemisphere could mean a slow down in demand for crude oil especially in terms of heating etc... can crude oil actually sustain its rally @ USD 50? 4. CPO inventory takes a hit, will supply pick up to return inventory stockpiles into a glu? time will tell... but one thing for sure Plantation Cters are a good hedge against fuel increase. |

QUOTE(panasonic88 @ Apr 10 2009, 12:41 PM) Gperak?? i won't touch at all DJ MARKET TALK: KLCI +2.3% At New '09 High; 936-950 Range Eyed -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 0447 GMT [Dow Jones] KLCI +2.3% at 938.54, off new 2009 high of 939.21, in heavy volume of 635.7 million shares as investors cheer new cabinet line-up from PM Najib Razak, say dealers. Market breadth positive with gainers trouncing decliners 449 to 74. Expects KLCI to trade within 936-950 range for rest of day. "On the domestic front, political uncertainty has been removed and the focus now seems to be on execution and delivery of what has been promised by the law makers. External newsflow is also fairly bullish with on lower jobless claims in the U.S., lifting optimism that the recession is abating," says dealer. Firmer MYR also indicative of inflow of foreign portfolio funds, says another dealer at bank-backed brokerage, noting particular interest in gaming, plantation, construction and finance stocks. USD/MYR last at 3.6100 from 3.6350 earlier in the week. Among gainers, Genting (3182.KU) +2.3% at MYR4.52, IOI Corp (1961.KU) +2.9% at MYR4.32, Bumiputra-Commerce (1023.KU) +2.7% at MYR7.70, IJM (3336.KU) +2.7% at MYR4.64. QUOTE(Grengo01 @ Apr 10 2009, 01:53 PM) All LCL sifus... can go somemore ah? I got only 20k @ 55sen... tot of throwing liao like cannot start up like tat... Nobody knows. However, LCL was hovering around 70 cents before it dropped when the news about WCT's contract got terminated in the middle east. Even though LCL was not directly involved, traders found that piece of news unfavourable for companies that have projects in the middle east. Hence the drop. Now that LCL are getting some small projects here and there, coupled with the improved sentiments in the stock market, I feel that LCL will gradually go up. How high is anybody's guess..... |

We have a lastest casualty locally on borrowing/bond issue.
Ingress, auto part maker. http://biz.thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?f...57&sec=business That's the primary risk on some stocks, as said before, it is not about market or economy recovery, sometimes it is about individual company getting through this difficult period of time. Economy and stock market surely will recover one day, but individual stock might not. Look at Citi, even DJ managed to climb back 8000 level, Citi's share still at around 3 only. |

I also not urgently need the money, but if the market too hot. Why not sell some? As for me, I sold by industry or market exposure. Steel counter will not recover so fast (you can read some news regarding China Steel market).
My today sold counters are Kinsteel, Ann Joo, Unisem and LCL (I don't think middle east situation got any improvement with the recent oil hike). All show hand!!! QUOTE(Neo18 @ Apr 10 2009, 05:30 PM) |

KLSE keep going up since last Wed till today..
US market also went up alot.. seems like stock market is recovering slowly.. Banking report start to show profit, Oil start to move up.. Steel counter also up, Plantation up... Finance counter also start to move .. OSK hit abt 1.10..even penny stock finance investment like PMCAP also start to move. My OSK remiser told me bfr if PMCAP start to move.. means KLSE transaction already hit Billions ringgit.. v_viper88 QUOTE(kb2005 @ Apr 10 2009, 10:01 PM) |

Why is the P/E Of PBB = 7.6 while the P/E of BCB = 13
Is PBB cheaper compared to BCB? Is BCB overvalued because of the Najib factor? People rushing to buy this stock without comparing with other banking stocks? |

Is this the price that will trigger suspension of the counter? Thank you. |

You are paying premium for the ex-right Axiate shares which is suppose to be only 1.79.
I oso wanted to buy earlier when ex but its price shoot up 1.93+/-.. kinda expensive so din buy. Yesterday drop to 1.82/1.83 quite attractive, i oso qued buy at 1.83 but some big buyer start buying and push up its price to 1.89. 15 April Axiata will resume back normal trading.. not sure it will be like Maybank last day before resume price plunge or not. This counter have big ppl playing.. for long term maybe ok.. short term better grab at low price for safe play. QUOTE(Freelancer @ Apr 11 2009, 12:09 AM) |

June CPO hit a high of 2305. And this will likely to continue. KLCI might hit 970 if plantation counters keep on rallying in anticipation of the meltdown of the usd and hyperinflation; and not to forget China has been importing copper at the record rate.

QUOTE(simplesmile @ Apr 10 2009, 11:41 PM) Why is the P/E Of PBB = 7.6 while the P/E of BCB = 13 I don't know where you get the data, but one advise:Is PBB cheaper compared to BCB? Is BCB overvalued because of the Najib factor? People rushing to buy this stock without comparing with other banking stocks? Do not relied on newspaper published PE, dividend yield or NTA or whatever data. They are slow to update, by then they updated, it could be months time already. Also they are always wrong (because of slow to update) on the 52 week high/low especially when there is price adjustment has been going on due to right issue, bonus, split. PE published generally is based on last year financial result, so it could be non-updated data. One should use lastest Q financial result for comparison. Please don't use last year data, EPS then use today price to conclude the PER which is meaningless especially we would be seeing huge swing/plummeting in EPS this year. |

Just your investment is no good, temp, or commodity price was dropping ? One thing, TMI had created quite a bad image of themselves, that gave to a lot of doubts to the investors. Overseas investments performance are below expectation for example. Indo Currency was bad, now getting better. RM 21 billions mkt cap lost after the demerger. That's the difference between a world leader and small country. Hope Obama come out with some quick fix. I don't want them to have fundemental fixed as I like the economic cycle. If the cycle is every 5 years better still, more fun to play stocks!!!

QUOTE(kb2005 @ Apr 12 2009, 10:38 AM) No agreement, they can dispose if wish to but if China said or intended to dispose its trillion of USD asset, it is just like throwing the stone on its own leg only, aka China being hijacked/controlled by US in term of financial/trade. The implication is simply too big and unimaginable if China to dispose trillion of treasuries, (also there are a lot of political pressure not to do it). 1. USD plumetting, resulting your own (China and aross Asain countries which is the main owner of US treasuries now) reserves value shrinking only, like you are holding trillion of treasuries, but if you want to dispose it, it doesn't worth trillion, get what I mean. The analogy like you own gold that worth 100/g based on current market price, but you bring hundred of tonnes of gold to sell in the market, you won't get 100/g, you depress your own asset price by selling due to enormous quantity issue. You need substantial buyers that can meet the seller quantity, Asian countries hold most of USD, if they are keen to dispose USD asset, who is the buyer can come out with such amount of money to buy up? None, except through severe devaluation of USD. Devaluation of USD eventually will lead to a) commodities will rise mean severe inflation which will kill of your previous effort of economy growth b) Worldwide financial market in chaotic as USD is the main trade medium across the world c) Export of China and Asian countries dried up even hurting your own economy. So you get none of benefit by doing so, just died together. Also, US won't allow this to happen while it is mutual benefit for US and China or Asian countries to stay within this kind of structure or situation particular because of primary factor © and "died together" |

According to info from "The Edge", KLCI is likely to scale momentarily higher before pausing to catch a breather in consolidating its recent gains. KLCI's overhead resistance is now revised to the 950-985 levels while its downside support is at 900-905.
It also addressed the hot topic about whether this is the start of a bull run or a bear trap. No conclusion as experts have different views. Guess we just have to wait for further upcoming data this week...... Hence the dilemma of whether to hold a bit longer or sell this week.... |

It also addressed the hot topic about whether this is the start of a bull run or a bear trap. No conclusion as experts have different views. Guess we just have to wait for further upcoming data this week...... Hence the dilemma of whether to hold a bit longer or sell this week.... have you heard anything so far this week ? |

QUOTE(SKY 1809 @ Apr 12 2009, 08:31 PM) Strangely that no more analysts are predicting market would hit 700 pts and below, unlike in Jan or March this year. I guess it is due to improve sentiments and "encouraging" data that came out recently.have you heard anything so far this week ? Here's what "The Edge" say about this: QUOTE The past two rallies in March and December last year dragged the index down to new lows. If the trend is repeated by the bears as expected, it could mean the likelihood of DJIA sinking below 6,000 points. Although the above fact has become unlikely (with all the stimulus packages flying around), I guess nobody knows. I think the next few week's data would be crucial in determining this...... QUOTE(kitzai1981 @ Apr 12 2009, 09:01 PM) PROTON can hold for long term since its quite cheap now... Looking at the political situation, it seems like Malaysia is relatively more politically stable among the ASEAN and not yet in recession. Could this be a harbinger of more FF inflow to the market?Added on April 12, 2009, 9:02 pmwould situation in BANGKOK now will affect south-east asia market??? |

Wow... very nice unrealized profit ady..
Mind share with us how long u bought and keep this share to reach this price? Alot of research house call sell on Gamuda..like OSK, CIMB... most of them prefer switch to IJM. GLC construction sector get boost from government...all went up... If you feel theres room for Gamuda to go higher, maybe you can sell 30% or 50% 1st/ in stages and later sell the balance at a higher profit price. All is up 2 u. I feel next week KLSE still can go up.. coz next Wednesday is the 1st Cabinet meeting. IF US there no more shitting blood den okla... v_viper88 QUOTE(ozone9 @ Apr 12 2009, 03:24 PM) |

US data may show stabilization or improvement but I think our local data would still show deterioration? The reason is because I don't think we can ever get that price range again.....Mind share with us how long u bought and keep this share to reach this price? Anyway, my 0.2 cents only..... Well, it depends the degree of transparency you have.If I had caught Gamuda at RM1.00+ (probably less than RM1.50?), I would probably hold it for long-term. The reason is because I don't think we can ever get that price range again..... Anyway, @viper88, anything to goreng this week? If you say GDP is growing by 0.1% for example, most people would think it is negative. In the West or Singapore where there is a greater transparency. Even though your coming Q result may not be good, but you have reasons to foresee better future results, investors may see a chance to buy your co's shares if traded with big discounts. So how you " see it " is as important. This post has been edited by SKY 1809: Apr 12 2009, 10:51 PM |
