I might be off but shouldn't the light just be on when it first starts up and pulsates when its in sleep mode?



also, while coz has always been ridiculously fast, I've always opted for crucial ._.

Hey guys, is there any recommended and working brand of 8GB RAM for MBP 13' early 2011? I noticed that it used 5GB of Swap file when I opening up VM Fusion. So I planned to upgrade from the default 4GB to 8GB.

yup,
the lights shud be on while Mini is on...and pulsates if it's sleeping...
but mine...just no light at all...
hahahaha....i think i didnt connect the IR receiver after the "operation"...

You're gonna face problem later when you're using the Apple Remote for iTunes/DVDplayer/Plex. Otherwise it serves no purpose. tongue.gif

hold up hold up. isn't the led just a power indicator? as in it has nothing to do with the ir receiver, right?

but you said it lights up when it's sleeping! which means it is working ._.! because iirc its not supposed to light up during normal use.

IR works with all kinds of remote, including the Logitech Harmony remote. The only way to know is actually try using it with a remote I guess.

it does, but google to see if the specific ,model works first. it should be pretty much plug & play.

cousin uses a Logitech for hers

finally deciding to get OWC SSD with data doubler. Dont really need the optical drive. Hopefully everything works fine.

Wow, that data doubler is 3x the price you could get from the ebay. But I guess it worth to go for a branded one ..

Yeah a tad expensive but they are giving it for half the price if u bundled it with ssd.I guess that is not too bad. Btw, anyone here ever do SPAN on their drive? Need some insight on the performance. Thx.
