Hi, this might've been covered many many times before! so sorry to ask again.
Is there a specific HDD that is used when I want to swap my current 250gb to a 500gb one? Using a MacBook late 08/09. The version before those new 13inch MBP range.
I've just been quoted 900 to swap it at machines.....is that "normal" pricing?
feedback appreciated!

Where is a good alternative place to get it upgraded apart from Machines? I know many would say DIY but i am no techy person as most guys would be. Hahaha thanks!

Just follow the procedure from your Macbook user manual / Youtube.. Never try never know

RM900 can get you a decent SSD already. Now you all know why Machines is everywhere. Maybe I should start charging that way to afford a premium store.

@selvenz,
What about a 1TB HDD 2.5", plus a 2X4GB RAM combo? What's your opinion on this?

But the 1TB is only Samsung got right? and hard to find For speed, performance and little sacrify on storage, 500gb momentusXT. If U want to tweak out max, SSD + 500gb momentusXT/750gb on optibay. Understand samsung 1TB had problem fix into optibay.. Correct me if I am wrong
