If u looking for bigger storage..it will be good. But the 1TB is only Samsung got right? and hard to find

For speed, performance and little sacrify on storage, 500gb momentusXT.

If U want to tweak out max, SSD + 500gb momentusXT/750gb on optibay. Understand samsung 1TB had problem fix into optibay..

Correct me if I am wrong

If I'm not mistaken Western Digital (WD) came up with a 1TB 2.5" drive also, but I'm not sure if they cater to the Asian market. I'm scared 500GB will be full instantly from all my contents pretty soon after purchase :/

@ Kernkraft400 , Actually i have never used more then 320 in all my laptops as i always have a 1tb external always hooked up and when im away from desk i rarely use the media files

as i mostly work with excell so difficult to judge but i do agree ultimate twek would be
SSD main drive
700 gb at optibay
2 x 4 gb1333
But i like my setup right now

500 gb momentus xt
2 x 4gb 1333
1 TB my studio external (at desk)
320gb in enclosure (ori apple drive)

PhysX probably. Or because I'm complete noob when it comes to Ati gfx.
Mine's using the HD6490 right now.
How good does it handle for newer games in windows? (It's dual booted with Win7 btw)

btw the 1st gen MBP used ati radeon x1600. only the 2nd gen started to use nvidia 7600gt. now back to ati once again

The dispute between Intel and NVIDIA concerns the chipset, not GPU. Specifically NVIDIA's chipset above the Core 2 Duo, the i-family first gen. Intel bars NVIDIA from making Chipset for the i-family, among the main reason why NVIDIA decided to stop making chipsets altogether. The 320M is based on an NVIDIA design, which is why you could only get those with a core 2 duo.

If you are thinking of the 6490, what I read is that if you run it under Mac OS X, its fine. Performs okay for me playing Starcraft II at full res on a MBP 15". Not for hardcore like CoD or the like. The other thing to remember is that it may run hotter under Bootcamp Win 7.
