On MAS homepage, when I click sign up, it brings me to a page which says
Sign up for Malaysia Airlines Newslater

Can we sign up MAS like we do for AirAsia, whereby we enter our passport numbers, date of birth etc., so that the data is ready when we book ticket in future?

i think u have to buy the tickets first before you can join as a member

Anyone know when will MAS have good deals again ? Seems like they will randomly change their price without any notifications ?

On Monday kl to perth and vice versa only cost RM2000 ( 2 pax ), when I wanted to buy those tickets yesterday the price shoot up to RM3810+...

Reason I didn't buy it on Monday it because I was waiting money transfer to my debit card... Cheers

Their deals very random. Sometimes they don't show it at all. Just check it once awhile then you'd notice it.

I wanted to ask about "open ticket" thing.

I forgot how to check if my ticket is expired or not? How to see? I was told to have one open ticket that I have never used last time. Do tell me about it. It's around November 2013 but would it be expired already?

normally open ticket is valid for 1 year..
but its best you call them and check..

What's the contact number? I called before. Is there any direct hotline?

Verify through IC and stuffs like that.

izit a must to bring the photocopy credit and IC to check in ? im not flyers just buy for my relatives

I have yet to experience any problem with these even when I use my cc to buy for my family. Up till now no problem at all.

Yeah, bid the most minimum amount, which was sgd300 (I am flying from SG) I hope I get the newer A330's which have the angled flat seats rather than the older 45deg recline ones though

yup, the new A330 has got nicer seats, i think they are Recaros.

but somehow i prefer the 777 seats as the seating angle when watching the TV screen is much more comfy, maybe its just me..

Not too sure man. They just had that like few months ago, won't be soon I guess.

Anyway, did anyone notice they are doing double enrich miles and double sectors for silver tier and above until 15th Dec? That really helps accumulating points and tier status!
