Hallo guys, reporting back after SG - Sydney ... Melb - KL trip. Sat 3 different aircraft, B737-800, A330-300, B777-200, all biz class. Total cost SGD 1,214.89 (MYR 3,148.43) per pax cos of cheap MH upgrade icon_idea.gif

The SG-KL routes on 738 really way too short flight to appreciate but we benefit from the golden lounge access (especially on the return leg which we had 3+ hour layover in KLIA).

The A333 and B772, of cos biz class very nice but I think the cabins are showing their age with angled-lie-flat seats vs MAS other premium competition like SQ, Qatar etc which are all in process of upgrading fleet to fully flat beds liao.

Having said that, SQ Biz Class to Aussie and back is like at least triple the price of what we paid for MAS so ... no complaints lah brows.gif

I got MH upgrade offer to upgrade to biz class for minimum of 200/pax.
I am travelling 2 adult and 1 toddler. For 3 hour flight, is it worth? Will upgrading for toddler be a waste since they dont need the extra legroom and better food?

Don't think it works like that. At time of placing bid you need to key in credit card details already. Around ~48hrs earlier then you will get a mail whether your bid accepted or not. If accepted they automatically charge your card.

Anyway rm200/pax for 3 hour flight, I think worth it lo.

No. Has always been operated by a 3-class B777-300ER.

Ya cannot bid and dont pay.. 200 per pax per way will work out to be 1200 more for the return. I bought MH Basic cos the promo fares sold out.
I feel is worth for adult but i dont think worth for my 3 year old. He wouldnt know the difference between Mas Golden Lounge and PPL, and he normally has his own snack on board.
I think i not gonna bid la.. tongue.gif
