OT a bit ...

speaking of official unlocked unit and locked unit iphone i encountered some people selling mod/hack service to make your iphone will unlocked forever even tho you update or restore it.. its forever official unlocked.

HERE is the link. i somehow 50/50 want to trust it. but im pretty sure they will crack out the chip( open the iphone to take out the motherboard/daugtherboard etc...

mine i did a clean restore from a jailbreaked 2.2.1 3g, the phone its alot smoother in 3.0 , e.g. like scrolling through diff pages at home screen.

Smooth sailing here as well. the only hint of a lag is when swiping left to Spotlight. If I would compare the 3.0 firmware, the lag, when present, is less or equal to 2.2.1.

you shouldn't patronise kopitiam so often... just look at the latest dispute at Main Site/Forum Feedback and Helpdesk. utterly disgusting i tell you...

I frequent that cesspool for personal comedic fill, so it probably is harmless. As for what's happening in that other section you mention, it just shows that even the tag berwarna-warni are asses, but with a "cover my track" clause in their appointment letter, of course. Sorta proven my point from all the previous encounters I've had with them.

When I use Shake To Shuffle, it only shuffles the songs inside an album and not the entire music collection. Is this how it works or a bug?

i'm not wrong, from the tabs below, "Playlists" or "Songs", at the upper top corner, select "Shuffle" and you should be good to go!

Oh! Got it, thanks pal. So if you're playing a song from an album and shuffle, it will shuffle songs in the album only.

Depends on the last entry you got into when you picked that song in the iPod screen. For example, if I picked a song while I was browsing for that song in a playlist, it will shuffle that entire playlist. If I looked through it through the songs list (A to Z) it will shuffle your entire iPod song content. If I looked at it from inside an album, only that album will be shuffled.

shesshh... with the introduction of this new OS 3.0, my average daily post has shot up to 6.5/day. i resemble a lifeless person now and slowly becoming an apple fanboy and succumbing myself to pay those sinful "apple taxes".

Odd seems like syncing takes a lot longer than previously. Will test a some more before coming to a conclusion.

Edit: Something to do with the backup process. That seems to take ages.

OT a little:

iTunes is having a father's day special sale on its store. i have just purchased the entire season 1 of mythbuster. grab when they are still hot!

I need to get this off my chest, apparently I think 3.0 has a lot of visual bugs or inbalance graphics and icons. The stock apps just don't blend together in terms of the graphics wise, all felt clumsy. Some are big while some are small thus looks cheap.

just updated my 2G to OS3.0, lost the SwirlyMMS and certain *hack* ability... phew! , btw the new features is awesome...

Update 1: APN Section to key-in the setting for EDGE/MMS oso dissapear.. phew2x...

Update 2: After further test found out Youtube app not functional on my 2G iPhone... this release (Pwnage Tool 3.0) might be a "Preliminary Jailbreak" as stated in the Dev Team blog.

hi guys, been reading the previous posts and noticed some mentioned a lag after updating to 3.0. I am experiencing the same thing -- although not very noticable, there is a hint of it especially when scrolling from page to page..

that aside, i also noticed my batt's being drained!! my first charge after updating lasted less than a day! i charged the batt up to full again last nite, wake up (after 9 hours) and almost half is gone again!!! i didnt use any apps/ make calls/ send sms, just charge then sleep this neveR used to happen when i was on 2.2 can anyone enlighten me on this pls?
