so means the setting is already configured?
I am using maxis..
*
yes. the setting already been configured automatically and you are ready to use your mms and tethering. anyway the carrier setting for maxis must be maxis 4.0 then it can work. if not you can't mms or tethering or both. ( the carrier setting can be seen on setting>general>about...mine was 4.0 and can mms and tethering.)

Yup and thats how they do it in Sydney too. They work in teams and different teams handle different part of the customer experience. You can even book an appointment with one of the reps/evangelists!

Apple now selling unlocked iPhones in Italy

Apple has begun direct sales of unlocked phones in Italy, the first time the handset has been offered outside of carrier stores in the country. SetteB.IT reports (Translated Link) that the change was just recently confirmed by employees at the Roma Apple Store, who had previously denied any plans to offer the handsets directly. Macity goes on to explain (Translated Link) that while the phones were offered unlocked through TIM and Vodafone previously, neither would sell the phone without forcing the customer to sign a contract. iPhones purchased through Apple, by comparison, are free to be used on any service. Pricing for the iPhone 3G S is €599 for 16GB models and €699 for 32GB units through Apple, and €619 and €719, respectively, through TIM and Vodafone; the iPhone 3G S goes on sale in Italy today.

DELICIOUS! Not just Voda or TIM, even Apple is getting on the whole thing! Plan goes full speed ahead! rclxm9.gif

I doubt that. Maxis would run amok if they lose their exclusivity.

@Masamune,
U must have updated your carrier settings along with the iTunes update. To disable APN, all U need to do is create a fake APN. With that, U won't have to worry about streaming incoming data tongue.gif

Go to unlockit.co.nz. on ur iPhone Safari and follow instructions there to create your fake APN profile. When U want the phone to stream data normally, just delete the profile.

last itme when i using 2.2.1 it always do thing like that. i usually press sleep/wake button then slide to unlock then after that the brightness will "high" again. i think its due to the auto brightness from iphone. and when you slide to unlock it will take time to readjust the brightness especially at night.

p/s: it also happen to me at night. but for 3.0 im not sure because not yet sms at dark/dimm light room...
