QUOTE(Gen-X @ Mar 4 2009, 12:34 PM) Yes and No. It depends. In my Amex Charged Card Statement there is a Payment Due Date stipulated usually on about 16-18th of the month. Most of the time I will bank in my cheque only after the 20th and never got charged for late payment. However if one pay after the Statement Date, then sure interest and late payment will be imposed. U mean if u pay after the due date, but b4 the next statement is out then not charges? Afaik, Amex aka American Express is a charge card and their interest rate is super expensive if u dont pay them full payment.. Maybank Amex, i dont know... i just got mine recently. QUOTE(jack2 @ Mar 4 2009, 01:01 PM) Sure, I always late to make payment due to busy schedule. Didn't see there is any late payment or interest charge imposed. Good for u.... My Maybank Visa i paid later than 6PM on the same day still get charged late payment fee...

QUOTE(b00n @ Mar 4 2009, 04:25 PM) You can always phone in to ask for waiver ya laaa...my CIMB DA, there was one time i made full payment a day after due date... in the subsequent month statement got finance charge edy, but no late payment charge....straight away ask them for waiver la once i notice the finance charge in my cimblicks....finally they waived it.... that's the only time i fail to make payment before due date (becoz i forgot), since i'm their cardmember in june 2008... but did that affect my aim to be in the category 13.5% interest rate (next june) ?? Most of the shops will absorb the RM50 processing fee for you. Ask for any hidden/extra charges/interest before you go for the 0% installment.

QUOTE(jack2 @ Mar 4 2009, 03:59 PM) Wonder the rebate of 2% given by the DA is on certain period until expired or it is whole life? Then can we access our credit account in internet banking and pay bills using DA credit cards? I prefer AmBank cc as we can pay many utilities from credit card accounts instead of bank accounts. QUOTE(David83 @ Mar 4 2009, 04:08 PM) I thought DA 2% rebate will end by April right? really?! i thought forever? i know maybank 5% for carrefour is until end of April

Hey guys, applied for HLB classic credit card today and the lady on the phone told me that it's "free-for-life". I was excited for a minute and then I thought "wait a minute, it's a bit too good to be true".
Anyone has a clue? Is it a minimum swipe thing and then call every year to request waiver or is it automatic?

Treatpoints to redeem Maybank vouchers have increased terribly. Petronas voucher is now 11000 points instead of 9000 points last time. All the vouchers also increased
