LOL, i don't trust SAF if i can sense it was a mind games from him. And i do. Don't trust him. You can trust Rafa for being honest but not SAF. Hehe.

Worst come to worst, I think maybe Michael Carrick will be partner with Rio.

Assuming O'Shea and Evans cannot come back in time, would you take the risk to call up your youngster?

But if so, I don't think I'll risk it, but I'm no SAF. I choose Carrick cause of his height and good positional sense and I dowan to risk Evra there since his lack of height.

Fletcher Ferdinand Carrick Evra

Rafael Ferdinand Carrick Evra

EDIT : looks like khangfai think the same thing as me

I would go for Fletcher Ferdinand Carrick Evra BUT it will limit our options in midfield?

CR - Giggs - ? - Park (assuming its 4-4-2)

Cant see Scholes starting another game in successive.

Where's Hargraeves when you need him?! Possebon or Gibson? LOL-ed, but I'll trust both of them more than Eckersley. Ibrahimovic vs Eckersley is suicidal sweat.gif

Doubt that we'll be throwing out two strikers in San Siro. Probably be Berba up top alone, with support from five midfielders. Giggs would sit in deep to help out our weakened defense, with Tevez probably playing on the left. Fergie will have to improvise alot. Damage limitation will be the goal for the day I fear, Inter will definitely be going for the kill and a big lead to take to Old Trafford, seeing our defensive worries. A draw would be a massive result to bring home.

I think, Rafael will play at RB.
If Carrick plays in CB, then Fletcher will be at CM.
I don't know whether Scholes will fit for Inter Milan game.
Actually Scholesy is the best choice to play at CM.

But CM is not a big worry,
because Wazza or Tevez could play at CM as well.

Though I dont watch Serie A much but in the Champions League, when was the last time a Mourinho team has gone for the kill? I think it will be a drab 0-0 unless for set pieces.

If we go for 4-5-1

It might be like this:

Ronaldo - Fletcher - Giggs - Rooney - PJS

Berbatov

Rely on wardworker (PJS, Rooney and Fletcher) in the midfield and Ronaldo and Giggs as source of creativity?

????

This is mine if O'SHea and Evans can't make it

VDS

Rafael Ferdinand Carrick Evra

Ronaldo Giggs Fletcher Park

Rooney Tevez

or

VDS

Fletcher Ferdinand Carrick Evra

Ronaldo Giggs Gibson Park

Rooney Tevez

that's the best I can think of

It looks 4-4-2, but I'll foreseen Rooney and Tevez swapping roles to drop back to midfield to shield the defence.

Unconventional huh.......I sense a Ferdinand-Rooney partnership at the back lol

I dun think Rafael is ready for the game, he'll be murdered by Mancini.

i don't think rafael is fit for that intermilan game.

why not play 4-3-2-1
similar tactics with 4-5-1
we can use Rooney behind berba

VDS
Fletcher-RIo-JOS-EVra
Ronaldo-carrick-park
rooney-giggs
berba

worst case scenario RAFAEL WILL PLAY AS RB!

Many people were expecting him to be murdered by Robinho when we played Cteh early this season and we all know how that turned out. I'm guessing it will be Sheasy in the middle if Evans doesnt make it and Rafael on the right.

i think if rafael played on the right it'll just be another blackburn then.. inter are full of tall and physical players.. i think their shortest one is zanetti and he is at same height as rooney sweat.gif
