Evans has picked up a slight knock just now. Hope he's ok or else we're having a serious trouble against Inter.

QUOTE(waif @ Feb 22 2009, 03:46 AM) Blackburn is slowly turning into another Bolton. Allardyce's Bolton were too piece of cake in my opinion. Playing 5 midfielder and punting the ball direct into tall centre forward. Playing so damn defensive. Totally the same DNA if anyone could recall the previous Bolton under Allardyce. QUOTE(yfchin2 @ Feb 22 2009, 03:48 AM) anyway...hope that this match actually told MU players that they are not that "untouchable"...they will lose if they didnt perform..hope they will realize that... Hope the United fan will realize that. |

Can't really comment about bias or not but their information wasn't complete either.nani is not performing but don't deserve a 4 as well... Actually in the next game, i prefer Brown the most but i think he lacks of match fitness or is he injured currently? Really hope Evans is okay or else we have no choice but to play O'shea at the CB. if that so, we need to play Rafael on the RB.
Regarding P.I.G, i think SAF has his own reason why he played P.I.G instead of Foster or VDS. That reason i can think of is he wanted to give P.I.G some games, P.I.G only had 2 or 3 games this season and i feel sorry for him. He never complained he was on the bench all the time because he knows, Foster is given more priority ahead of him. It's not easy to find this kinda player and as a third choice goalkeeper i think he has done his job for the sake of the team. |

Enough guys. I think apart from Rooney everybody had a bad game yesterday, only one, one bad game this year. At least look at the bright side, we won. Job done for this week.

QUOTE(alien2003 @ Feb 22 2009, 06:42 PM) Talking about Rooney, I think yesterday was the 1st time after a long time that he is taking a few shots/attempts outside the box? Did get close for a few of them. He is slowly turning into Nistelrooy type of striker, in fact he has both Rooney and Nistelrooy in him. This post has been edited by maxizanc: Feb 22 2009, 06:50 PM |

QUOTE(alien2003 @ Feb 22 2009, 06:50 PM) Let's just say IF worst case scenario where none of JOS (heel)/Brown (?)/Evans (ankle) fit in time, how should we lineup the defense? Bear in mind that Gary is out against Inter Milan as well. Unless we gamble on Rafael as RB else: If that so we are so fakap. Why it is always happening before UCL game? I mean a center back issue.Fletcher - Rio - ? - Evra But i have a strong feeling either Evan or Brown will make it. |

If we go for 4-5-1
It might be like this: Ronaldo - Fletcher - Giggs - Rooney - PJS Berbatov Rely on wardworker (PJS, Rooney and Fletcher) in the midfield and Ronaldo and Giggs as source of creativity? ???? This post has been edited by maxizanc: Feb 22 2009, 07:28 PM |

Very tired of all of this... Let's read some news.. Sir Alex: This was a lesson to us QUOTE Sir Alex Ferguson says United's 2-1 win over Blackburn shows the Reds must “fight for our lives” to win the title. United can expect 12 more battles to clinch an 18th league title. Wayne Rooney put the Reds in front, but Roque Santa Cruz levelled for a spirited Rovers team, and it took a fabulous free-kick from Cristiano Ronaldo to seal the win. “It was a great lesson for us,” said Sir Alex. “It tells you what this league is like. There’s no way we can forecast winning the league when you get difficult games like this. Blackburn are down at the bottom, they’re going to fight for their lives. That’s what you expect from every team in the bottom eleven. It’s a difficult league. “A lot of people are talking about us winning the league, but we must dismiss it. This was a great reminder that we’re going to have to focus on every game. Just as the teams at the bottom are fighting for their lives, we have to fight for ours.” Sir Alex wasn’t wholly convinced by his team’s display. “We probably just deserved it, but only just,” he added. “We were in a controlled position and gave away a goal. When you consider the way we’ve defended over the last ten weeks or so, that was not indicative of our performances. It was a very soft goal to give away. Blackburn got a lot of resolve from that. They became very determined in the second half, they put on a great show and Sam will be pleased with them. They made it a real fight.” But winning tough matches is a quality all champions possess. “Sometimes when you don’t play at your very best, you can get a result like that and it hopefully goes towards winning the title,” he said. It certainly looks good, now eight points clear. But the United boss won’t be counting his chickens yet. http://www.manutd.com/default.sps?pagegid=...&newsid=6627633 That is so true. |

QUOTE(shortleg88 @ Feb 23 2009, 02:07 AM) Yup, i worried sh!t about Inter that is. Not that I don trust the squad, but UCL is sometimes more about luck. Just hope Lady Luck smiles upon us that night. I hate Italian opposition except Roma that is, let's hope we can compete and battle past them QUOTE(yfchin2 @ Feb 23 2009, 02:07 AM) agree with SAF...tat is why i said before this...players must keep their mind awake..we ARE NOT untouchable yet Yes, luck plays big part in all games actually. Look at us, always having a same problem every season. The center back issue before UCL games. remember us against Milan where we were rushing Vidic from injury and last season, how hard for us to get the double champions..QUOTE(aboogee @ Feb 23 2009, 02:07 AM) Aiyo macha, rilekz lah bro. Ahh.. you are adorable Everytime a newbie comes in, they will do the same. They will go to ur thread and gloat and their idiot-within will come out. Takkan everytime it happens we have to go on about it. Im sure u saw my replies to him in ure thread and uve seen the replies he got from our thread. Im certain (at least i hope i am) that he wont go spouting shit all over the Pool thread again. Now lets call it a 2-am truce and let it chillax eh matey ? Look forward to the weeks game, ours to Inter, yours to Madrid ... Play it ice and stay cool. This post has been edited by maxizanc: Feb 23 2009, 02:18 AM |
