Wanna ask something. There's a rumor circulating that screamyx is doing selective area capping...well in my area anyway. Like part of the town/city they capped it during certain time like in the evening when business already close down. Cause a friend of mine said that their download speed is still fast despite mine being slow. Is there such a case?
Another thing I notice is that almost every end of the month, the speed suddenly slowed down to almost nil. Beginning is fast but end of the month started to snail down, and I do mean like "every" month.

the problem starts at friday for me.. cant even stay ingame for 1 minute befor get dc.. BTW im playing US knight online.. normal latency to the game server is around 320ms to 420ms.. funny thing is my ping reply still stay the same during this internet slowdown.. so i did a traceroute to the server and found out that there is unstable routing within tm network.. i dont think there is international link breakdown or something.. not the 1st time this thing happened to me.. in my 4 year experience with streamyx, the longest time before u encounter slowdown/lag/line problem is 2 months.. is there any solution such as vpn etc. that can minimise/improve my gaming speed? any suggestion is appreciated.. cheers

From wat others have posted, in some of the areas some of them got back their normal speed after changing into a certain IP range.

Calling 100, the Level-1 support said the current slow connection problem is due to the following: 1. Satellite crash 2. Streamyx cables need to be replaced. No estimate of when problem will be solved. You have to walk-in to TM Point to ask about cable replacement.
Can you all also please call 100 and see what other sorts of explanations they give?
Calling TM HQ (Streamyx Complaints department), they don't know anything. They don't know there is a problem let alone when it will be solved. Unbelievable. I asked them to call 100 and listen to the announcement about slow connection and then find out from the relevant technical departments about this problem. Let me see if they call me back.
Obviously, the communications within TM departments is very very poor as there is no updates to each other.

SO NOBODY KNOWS WHAT EXACTLY IS THE PROBLEM?
It's been months?!!!
Broken undersea cable? Streamyx staff stole the mainframe? Streamy HQ blown up by disgruntled customer? Streamyx BT throttling software exploded?
What? Seriously, still no answer? What is the cause of this major farkup??
Streamyx new motto: "When we screw up, we'll never tell you about it, coz we like to see you suffer, so keep guessing, lolz".
