yep they are definitely capping it though in a unusual way. Download is super slow (plan to downgrade since there's no change in speed anyway in terms of storage/month).

But youtube is fine for at least 3 times of streaming then after that the speed drop to almost nil. I have a feeling that they cap a download site if it is found that the user may potentially over do it, not sure how that works though.

Contract also says "best effort basis". LOL. It's just a term and conditions in writing. What they do behind wall, who knows?

But seriously, it getting to the point where doing basic emailing is hard. Truthfully, Im thinking of traditional writing, but I also cannor rely on malaysia postoffice anymore.

Second that. I find it quite surprising as well. Direct download one 70Mb took me half a day, (not kidding) for a 1Mb package. But streaming youtube is a breeze....weird.

Wanna ask something. There's a rumor circulating that screamyx is doing selective area capping...well in my area anyway. Like part of the town/city they capped it during certain time like in the evening when business already close down. Cause a friend of mine said that their download speed is still fast despite mine being slow. Is there such a case?

Another thing I notice is that almost every end of the month, the speed suddenly slowed down to almost nil. Beginning is fast but end of the month started to snail down, and I do mean like "every" month.
