walaoweh  shocking.gif  7.2mb, maxis and celcom only provide 3.6mb. but as at now since maxis is still unlimited (no capping 10gb or what so ever )..I will stick with maxis..daily download 1-2gb no problem  thumbup.gif
But I guess eventually all ISP will follow this trend the capping part  cry.gif
*
actually i didn't subscribe to maxis broadband because there was a very low cap. if you visit their website, it states:

To allow all our users to enjoy quality browsing experience, Maxis will not assure constant connectivity if you use peer-to-peer or file sharing software. You may use
up to 3GB of data volume per month. If you exceed this, Maxis reserves the right to throttle your speed and for very excessive usage, to cap your usage.

can any user confirm this?

They don't have a nationwide fiber links like TM and it costs a bomb to lay them now. The only option for them is rent from others.
*
and yet "the fiber links owners" hold all of us hostage with horrible broadband for so long...

Not only divesting their shares, DiGi is also forced to hire many unwanted people as well as local unis to satisfy a certain quota.

*
i'm sorry but this is the most ludicrous statement i have read so far...why would any private sector company be forced to hire unwanted people?

30GB is  VERY LITTLE.

I easily use about 6GB a day. 5 days habis...and then stuck at 64kbps....yuck!!!

If throttle at 512kbps not so bad...64kbps is like dial-up!!! doh.gif
*
if you are using so much a day, isn't wired broadband like streamyx better?

According to the Digi specialist who attended to me, he said there'll be stamp duty on the first billing (RM10). I asked him if I use auto-billing will there be any deductions from the monthly bill and he said there will be no such thing for Digi broadband service.

By the way, are Digi Broadband subscribers given any online account like OCS where we can check out billing and usages online? Anyone guys?
Same here. I get disconnected from Live Messenger and browser loosing connection even though the Digi/Huawei Dashboard did not record any disconnection. I think an IP is refreshed but it was made transparent to the user.

Can anyone help provide a link where I can download Huawei's latest dashboard? Maybe it can provide better stability on connections? Just a guess.
*
i understand from my friend who has subscribe that yes, you actually must use OCS since e-billing is default. i went to OCS page just to check just now and there is a link for broadband user too.
