Quite confused actually. Just don't always step hard. It's good to be balance in this world, no matter what. In that way, you'll get the best of 2 worlds. smile.gif

Im having a few problems here with my car, can anyone find me solution to my car?\
1. just oni when i get back today, i noticed that my car was slanting down to the right side & i duno why or how
2. anyone here feels that their NHC air-conditioner system is not cold & it is very noisy?
3. do anyone here feels that the car is not powerful enuf?
*
1. Might be something wrong with your suspension/spring. On the NHC, like most torsion beam setups, the shock absorber and spring are separate. It could be a failure in either one of the components or both. Is it slanting very much? Have the SC check it out to confirm.

2. On a very hot day, it can feel like it's not cold enough. I think it's just our weather, not the air con system. At night, it's blardy cold even at the minimum. That's why it's worth while to invest a little bit more for good tints in this country. Not a good idea for cheapest item here.

3. I thought so too but as I drive it more (engine runs more) it becomes better with every kilometer. So, take your time to know your ride and her characteristics. It'll grow on you and get better with time. Kinda like good wine. icon_rolleyes.gif

Not really sure what kind of engine oil they're using. Normally, I just drop off my car at the service centre or call them to come to my house to pick my car up. Hehe...

when i sent my NHC for 1st check up (1k km service) i complaint about my car not enough pick up when start from idle, even lose to myvi when start head to head at trafic light for 500m. SC told me that normally Honda put oil slightly thick oil for new engine to protect engine part. and for free service, they using mineral oil. if we ewant to change to semi synthetic or fully synthetic, need to top up (around 20+ for semi).just sharing the info rclxms.gif

Hmm, I never know that, seriously. My dad used to take back a lot of engine oil from them when he serviced his car. Will take a look tomorrow.

I've notice usually with the Jazz, City and the 1.8 Civic, they use mineral oil all the way. But once the car gets older, best to switch from mineral to semi-syth. I'm planning to do that only after the 2nd or 3rd year.

Btw, what do you mean by thick oil?

[COLOR=red]I'm at 2450km

1. If this is the case, have the SC look at it immediately.
2. At 1, it's quiet, 2 a little bit noisier, 3 onwards very noisy but it is expected I think. Even your home aircon blower unit is loud at medium setting!

New engine not stable and not more than 80km/h? Ha ha ha...this looks like something the Mythbusters need to disprove. You can drive at whatever speed you want, be it 80 or 120km/h. Like andy said, the key is balance. Just don't throttle it up all the way or crawl like a turtle all the way. A bit of both is fine and keep your RPMs reasonable and logical. For example, doing 120km/h on 3rd gear is just plain stupid. Get it? Your engine is a high precision piece of engineering. It can take a beating, trust me. It's not made of tofu, so no need to treat it like tofu.

1. ya need fast fast send to SC liao, do they have waranty or smth?
2. lol.. ok just to check out so as everyone out ther with NHC is in the same condition as me so im not worry. biggrin.gif

lol.. just to get a confirmation oni la.. of cux i noe our engine is not tofu dry.gif
haha doing 120km/h using gear 3 is waiting for their engine to BOOM
owh and is dere any diff or harm to engine when u use the pedal shift thingy in D mode & S mode i mean as in all ways?
i find the NHC in D mode when starting to accelarate from gear 1 to gear 2 it pull gear 1 kinda long so when i hear the sound or RMP thingy i uses my pedal shift thingy to push it to 2nd gear so it wont pull gear 1 for so long..
somwtimes i feel that the NHC does not automatically adjust the gear to the proper gear that it should be at that speed (especially when the car slows down)

After i install the modulo on my car, i went to honda 3s centre to have a look where they stick the modulo logo. I stick it exactly what i have seen there. tongue.gif

So i think all modulo logo will stick in different area for every different car. They don't have a manual on modulo i think, so they just simply stick on it.

bro andy,

how come u can autocruise 100km/hr in ur 1st 1000km?? Not ur NHC, aight? Some other car, huh? Becoz the last time i check, the feature is not available in NHC.

Is it u who did ur alarm connection to the boot for RM 30? I am not satisfied with the sound of my alarm and would like to do the same. Where can I do it?

To all:
Question: How many of u have done their 1k service? How long does it takes and what did they check?

i was taking honda ori modulo... due before after market still dont have and also lasy to hunt.. so when i get my car direct put on modulo already.

i just asking my agent dont put the logo like normally where they put... point to my SA that where i want to place on then he will notice for u. i not sure other branch will doing this boh.. but i think it just very simple job only... cause the logo they only stick up after they spray the color on the modulo.

It's true that pickup is not as good as expected. It's a bigger/heavier car though the engine is more powerful.

You can't control when vtec opens? My SA told me that when you rev above 3k on NHC, VTEC opens. Anyone felt that before?
